âThe Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast.â

We went to the Azores for hiking. Found this place which seemed to be a nice hotel, not only for the modern interior design but also for the possibility to prepare some food for the our excursions.
Even if we did have som expectations we were happily surprised. The room was spacious with a separate comfortable sleeping area, a well equipped kitchen and dining area and a bathroom. We found all we needed and there were plenty of storage space.

âGreat experience, from check-in to checkout. Rooms are perfect, the restaurant (The balcony) had some of the best food and wine we've tasted in the Azores. Would have preferred a sauna by the pool and a better gym.
