In a privileged location in Carvoeiro, just 100 meters from the beach and a short distance from various shops and restaurants, the Carvoeiro By the Sea 1 Apartment is the perfect refuge for your vacation.



The apartment is located on the first floor and has 3 bedrooms, with 2 of these rooms furnished with single beds and the other room with a double bed en-suite.



The open-plan living room with a comfortable sofa and television and the kitchen equipped with all the essential amenities for culinary enthusiasts make this space cozy and independent. There is also a service bathroom with a shower.



The upper terrace offers a sea view, where you can enjoy a fantastic and relaxing late afternoon with a drink. The lower terrace, equipped with a dining table and seating area, is ideal for gathering with friends and family and enjoying delicious meals or leisure moments. Both terraces are common.



The Carvoeiro By the Sea 1 Apartment is strategically located near Carvoeiro Beach, where a variety of wonderful restaurants and exciting water sports activities are perfect for creating memorable moments. Near the property, you will also find the Carvoeiro Boardwalk for relaxing walks with stunning views.



It is not necessary to rent a car, but if you prefer, we will be happy to help you with the reservation upon request. We can also help organize transfers if needed.



If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and neither respects the property's change day, before proceeding with the reservation, please send us an information request so we can confirm if your dates can be accepted.



The change day for this property is Thursday (however, there may be flexibility during the low season).



Group deposit: €175 per person (payment by credit/debit card).

A reservation handling, insurance, and filing fee of 2.9% will be applied to the total amount of all payments: reservation values (deposit and final balance), deposit, transfer, extras, and excursions. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, including for the deposit.



Prices are for up to 6 people.

The 7th and 8th persons will be charged an additional amount that includes an extra bed (only €105 each, per week) or, in the case of small children (babies/toddlers), a crib (only €21 each, per week).



According to current legislation, tourism taxes may be applied.

Total Disregard for Guests

The location was amazing and the apartment would have been great had it not been for the stink caused by plumbing issues. When we arrived we could smell a slightly unpleasant odour. after coming back from a walk and dinner the smell was terrible. We informed the owners that we felt they had a plumbing problem and they should send a plumber to fix the faulty trap in the in the ensuite bathroom. They asked if we had checked the drain in the shower, we told them we had not even used that shower because the stench was so bad. The owner then agreed to send a cleaner who simply masked the smell. We had checked the shower and the floor wasn't wet. We let the owner know that the smell had only been masked. They said that the tide caused the smell. We discoverd the only way we could control the smell was to run the water in the shower every 3-4 hours to fill the trap. If we left the unit for more than 4-5 hours the smell was horrible. We had to get up 2-3 times a night to run water in the shower to prevent the smell from returning. we were all suffering with headaches and nausea. We asked again for a plumber and they refused. We asked to be relocated, they refused. We asked for a reduction in our rate they refused. we asked VRBO to provide a resolution/refund and they made a lame excuse about their IT systems not integrating. We did not have the money to just walk away and find another place, both Algarve Vacation Rentals and VRBO let us down. Stay away from both of these companies.

Great location and apartment, some shortcomings

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment, but there were some things that they should improve. First, the beds were rock hard - they must be the cheapest mattresses. There's also items missing that I would expect a VRBO to have when you're staying for multiple days (salt/pepper, dish soap, more than 2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels). There was also little communication on items that I expect - for instance, where to take the garbage/recycling if needed (there's public garbage and recycling apparently).At the time we visited, parking 2 blocks away was readily available, but may not be so in the busy season. The location was super close to the beach, restaurants, and stores, and that was great.
