  • Modern stil hus med den ursprungliga funktionen av 60-talets raklinjarkitektur. Villan ligger 100 meter från stranden och ligger i andra raden av hus som vetter mot havet, i ett primärt läge i Parque da Praia, ett lugnt, bostadsområde och privat i centrum av Luz. Omkring 75 meter från stranden så långt du kan gå och njuta av det vackra landskapet omkring dig. Huset har 4 sovrum, 3 badrum (2 badrum) och en gästtoalett, med en stor lounge och en matplats. Det finns en lång hall som ger sekretess till sovrummet. Alla rum är stora, rymliga och med gott om naturligt ljus. Köket har en modern design och är fullt utrustad och har ett separat frukostrum. Alla möbler och utrustning är nya och moderna. Den har en stor trädgård med mycket vegetation som ger komfort och sinnesfrid, med fint område runt poolen, trädgårds soffor och 3 bord, ett av trä och två av marmor, i olika zoner i trädgården, vilket möjliggör olika känslor Beroende på om du vill vara närmare bostadsområdet eller om du vill flytta lite till ett mer isolerat och grönt område eller om du vill grilla. Det finns flera fruktträd, päronträd, citronträd, vinrankor, apelsinträd. Vattenpoolen kan värmas upp och är 10 meter lång, med en trevlig relaxavdelning runt. Det är ett extremt trevligt och speciellt hus. Minsta vistelse på 5 nätter ..

Pleasant stay

House provided what is stated online, superb communication with Rita, she resolved any need we had in super short time. Location is great, without any traffic and in walking distance to beach and promenade. We have enjoyed our stay.

Perfect experience

We were impressed by the property, the house and garden are super well cared for, nicely furnished and well equipped. The heated pool is the main highlight of course and the location could not be better. Rita + her property management went out of their way to fix minor inconveniences on very short notice. Thanks for the relaxed experience, will hopefully stay again if we are in the Luz area!

The pool was lovely and comfortably warm until the owner turned the heating down two days before our departure.Unfortunately, there was no response to our calls or texts until the evening before we left, which was disappointing.Future guests should be aware that they wilneed to purchase all cleaning supplies, dishwasher and laundry tablets, and loo rolls, as well as any condiments — only the bare minimum are provided. On the positive side, the gardens are beautifully maintained and add real charm to the property.If the same level of care was given to the pool and outdoor lighting, this Villa could easily merit five stars. During our stay, there was no lighting around the pool, and several pool tiles were missing, some floating about the water giving it a slightly tired appearance. Although we reported the issue promptly, the electrician didn’t arrive until the next day and explained that the pool lights being faulty is a long-standing fault that couldn’t be fully addressed due to ongoing bookings!!Given the price point, expectations are understandably high. It’s a lovely Villa with great potential — and with some electrical investment in the pool, lighting, and general upkeep, it could truly offer an exceptional experience.Caterina did her best to help but could only suggest that we use the pool without lighting which again was a key reason for choosing this Villa.Would I book again? Yes - if I was guaranteed that these issues were resolved as it did impact.

A very nice house with potential for greatness

The house itself is lovely and large with lots of great amenities. Rita was wonderful in helping us settle in and provide recommendations in the area. The outdoor area and pool are the highlights. The pool was perfectly warm and a favorite of the kids, but even here there are a number of tiles that have fallen off the pool and others that are loose. It didn’t impact our time in the pool but it was unsightly. The beds are as plentiful and are spring mattresses with some more comfortable than others. There are many pillows to choose from. The house itself is large, open and thankfully air conditioned. What surprised us some was the lack of basics in and around the house. For example the kitchen was completely bare in the cupboards and the fridge — no spices, condiments, kitchen roll, not even an ice cube. Similarly there was a BBQ (charcoal) and two fireplaces but nothing to light them with. This was surprising given that every other VRBO or similar property we’ve rented has had some or all of these things and there was no indication that this property would be different. Especially at the price we paid. If they’d let us know ahead of time it would have been good to know, so I am posting it here so others will be aware that a full grocery shop for everything you’ll need for your stay should be your very first activity on arrival. Overall I’d rate the accommodations as 8/10 and would definitely consider staying again.

Amazing Luz property !

Modern, well located property. 2 mins walk to beach through cobbled alleys lined with bougainvillea! Loads of great restaurants at beach as well as family friendly surf! Loved our break so much at this lovely house and location.

Spacious villa on great location.

The villa is in a great location just a few minutes walk to the beach and several restaurants. The pool was well heated and good size. The parking lot is a bit tight, so a larger car does not fit in it and must be parked on the road in front of the house. The villa and the surrounding garden are spacious. The communication with Diana from the rental management went very well and she was right on time at our arrival for the check-in. If we compare this house with other houses we've been to in the same price range, the location, the space and the pool are the plus points, not to mention good beds and good WIFI. But the house should be upgraded on some points given the price range. For example the garden furniture, the umbrellas, some cabinets in the bathroom, the hanging of some showers in the holder, holes in the insect screens, the dishwasher that stopped during the program. Furthermore, it could be a bit more homely in the details: for example there were no kitchen towels, kitchen wipes, extra cutlery, kitchen equipment, cubes for the dishwasher, kitchen spray, waste bags. All in all we had a lovely time, solution of the above points would have made it perfect given the beautiful location and spacious villa.

Wonderful mini break in a Beautiful Villa

We decided on a last minute mini break with our 3 teenage girls and were absolutely delighted, the villa is spacious and spotless with comfortable beds and a wonderful location, we enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and walking the short distance to the lovely beach and restaurants. Diana, who looks after the property could not have been more helpful. I would recommend this villa to families or groups of friends alike.

Wonderful house and nice property management!

We had a wonderful time at the house with our family. Even with a party of eight the house offer ample space and room for everyone. The heated pool was perfect even in winter and the outside space was amazing. Only thing to mention is that the house is quite humid im winter but that is to be expected in the climate so close to the ocean. Diana and her team were perfect hosts and made our stay wonderful!

Tolles Haus!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in dem Haus. Es ist super ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und geräumig. Die Lage ist toll - nur ein paar Schritte vom Strand entfernt! Und zuletzt: Der Pool ist beheizt und sehr sauber! Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder :)

Beautiful house with pool

We enjoyed this house very much. It's located walking distance to the beach (even if you have little kids, as well did). The pool was a great place to blow off steam at the beginning or end of the day. Would definitely recommend this place to families and/or intergenerational groups!

Why I do not recommend this property

We had a wonderful stay. My family was very happy with the house and we created great memories while vacationing this summer 2019 in Algarve. However, an unfortunate event happened when we left the property and destroyed our last days of vacation in Porto. The stress caused by renting this property was so great that when I arrived back home, I found out I lost our baby. This is so overwhelming that few words allowed in this review will not be able to describe my anger and sadness feelings. To summarize our stay I must say Diana accused me and my family to have damaged the floor in one of the bedrooms after we left the home. I personally walked through every room of the house to make sure we left the home the way we found. Before we left (10:15am checkin was 10am), a cleaning company with two ladies arrived in the house (we left 15min later than suppose to and I am glad this happened perhaps it was the only clue to what happened in the house that day). Diana was not there to pick up the keys and verify the home was ok. 8hrs later I receive a random photo per text msg showing a damaged floor. No descriptions, only a photo. I enquired to know what picture was that she was sending me 1 min after her text. She never responded the text. She sent me text msg midnight stating she found the floor damaged in the bedroom. 5am the next day she texted another picture from the same floor. I did not sleep that night. My stress was to the maximum level. I called her on the next day during business hrs. But no response even after I left message on her phone and texted her to please call me back. On the next day she texts back saying she could not be on the phone. I demanded my deposit back because my family and I never caused any damage to the house. 3 days later she sends me an email accusing us of damaging the floor and the curtains in the main living room. One of the panels appeared to have slipped of the rails (very old panels). She writes in the email I destroyed. She is not trustable . If you think about renting this home, please be careful. I recommend to make a video of the home when you get in and get out. Do not leave the home without the owner there. I do not know what happened that day after we left. we had no paint, no children, no cleaning products to have caused the stain on the floor! there was a cleaning company there when we left. She accused us of damaging the house. If it wasn’t for the way she handled the situation, we’d have loved to stay

Great Villa Great location

Our family of 6 adults and 3 children stayed here for 1 week in October 2018.The villa was perfect for our requirements. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space, the kids loved the heated pool. The location couldn't have been better, only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Perfect for families, would definitely recommend it.

Perfect family house

Everything about the villa is amazing. We spent quite a while researching Luz and looking for something close to the beach but private “This is it”. Tiny 3 minute stroll and you are there, beach, bars, restaurants - everything. But once you have closed the gate you are in a little haven away from the crowd. Inside is open plan and really works well. Large & comfortable bedrooms all one end, great lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. But the best part is outside, WOW. We are a party of 2 adults and 5 very sports teenagers aged 14-19. We just lived outside either at the table, using the bbq, lay on the sun beds or splashing about in the wonderful pool. Thanks Diana - We have some great memories.
