## Neighborhood

Located in the center of Praia da Luz, the apartment is conveniently close to all local amenities including a beautiful sandy beach with seaside cafes and restaurants along a pedestrian promenade. Additionally, two supermarkets are within easy walking distance for those fresh morning croissants on the balcony.

Consider taking a local bus to the historic town of Lagos, rich in Portuguese heritage, or explore the charming fishing village of Burgau nearby. Praia da Luz is an excellent base for surfing enthusiasts with some of the best beaches in the Algarve close by. The area is also ideal for cliff path walking, offering stunning coastal views.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

You can park for free in Luz. Parking in front of the apartment is not always available in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.
