“Unsafe and Unsanitary Room — Should Be Removed from Listing
I booked this room for a friend, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty and smelled of mold, with stained and peeling walls, rusty light fixtures, and a damaged entry door that did not close properly. The overall condition felt unsafe and unsanitary.
No guest should have to stay in such conditions — this property should be re-evaluated or removed from the Hotels.com listings until it meets basic...

“I will never stay in another property in Lagos. Excellent staff, beautiful boutique style hotel, they paid very good attention to details! The breakfast is excellent and all the staff are so helpful. The room has everything you need, and the location is perfect. They also have a car available and driver for airport pickups. Anything you can think of, the Nordic Lagos will have it. Please skip all the other hotels and shortlets and go straight to the Nordic Lagos.”
“We loved Protea Hotel and it's staff. The manager was excellent, he really went out of his way to make us comfortable. We even were able to keep the room until 4 PM the day we checked out. Very friendly, service minded and attentive staff. We will definately come back to Protea Hotel when in Lagos!”
