“Great staff, great location and gardens. Stains on carpets in several areas, breakfast buffet disappointing, decor needs freshening up. Parking charge of £10 per night surprising and disappointing.”

“The staff were great - friendly and welcoming. The room was on the small side but we were only there for one night, and it was clean and comfortable (and the view of the hills was lovely). There was a large fan provided, which was very welcome given the heatwave that was taking place that week, We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. A perfect place for an overnight in the Lakes.”

“Excellent restaurant, quick service by friendly, helpful staff and super food. Two problems that occurred - firstly, it was a warm, muggy day and night and there were no fans available in any of the rooms. Thankfully, I was travelling by car and had a rotary fan in my boot 'just in case' so I was okay, but most of the guests had a dreadful night as there was no air movement even if you could open the windows (they barely opened). The second problem was finding the hotel as my Sat Nav sent me...
