Perfection
What a lovely experience! Host was helpful and responsive. House is large and well appointed, perfect for our group of families. Kids had a few spots to play and have a safe “sleepover” experience. Lots of space to lounge, play and eat. It’s winter so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space, but we talked about wanting to come back and enjoy the yard and short walk to the lake and all the amenities of downtown. The rooms are perfect for a large group, with 5 of the well-sized bedrooms being en suite. Wonderful stay!

GREAT for group trips!!
We absolutely loved our stay!! The house was perfect for a big group, the pictures do not do it justice. Tisha was kind and very responsive, would absolutely come again!

Great place for family gathering!!
We brought two sides of families together from Wisconsin and Texas here over Christmas! We had an amazing time gathering, cooking, eating, talking, and playing games!! We even brought in an actor from the Murder Mystery Company and had our own little crime scene game. Perfect place for all of that. Very clean and very well stocked!! Great host.

Family Weekend
Lovely area near the Lake. Nice property; dog friendly. Included many games, foosball, pool..Nice area for dining and game playing. Kitchen could use some updated non-stick skillets. Overall, generous accommodations.

A great house for a big group a block away from Lake Geneva
We had a group of 7 adult couples in their late 40's, 2 teenagers, and a dog. 6 of the 7 rooms have on suite bathrooms. The detatched just a few steps away from the room. One room is a bunk beds room with a bathroom called the Barracks. My wife and I made it work as our bedroom. Was kind of like having our own suite. A good place to get away or a great place for kids to stay. People were amazed at how many bathrooms and extra spaces there were to talk, play games in the house, and places to lounge outside. The pool table and foosball table were popular, and at the dining room table we fit 14 adults around for a game one night. The kitchen is on the smaller side though we made it work for every meal. It has 3 ovens! Pretty much anything you need is there. Communication was great throughout the process. We really appreciate Tisha's accommodations and hospitality for our group. Made things easier for us and more enjoyable for all. Also, the location is very ideal. A short walk from the Lake and downtown, near the lake trail to walk further. There's even a miniture golf course nearby. If our group were to gather again in Lake Geneva, I think we'd all agree we would be staying here again. Was a wonderful weekend with friends. Big Family Geneva House
Location was perfect and everything in the house was as advertised. Only complaint would be the water pressure in several of the bathrooms is non-existent.

I am sorry that you had issues with the water pressure. I went to the house and checked all the bathroom faucets and showers and I could not detect any problems with the pressure, so it's a bit of a mystery. Other than that, I'm very happy that you enjoyed the house and would welcome you back.

Great place
We truly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty to do. Walking to town and the lake only took 10 minutes The house was clean and fully stocked. We would definitely recommend this place and visit again!!

Great house for families
The house itself was perfect with bathrooms attached to every room. Bunk house was perfect for the kids. The house is on a busy street so if you’re a light sleeper you want a room toward the back of the house to minimize street noise. Air conditioner broke, but Tisha was responsive and fixed it quickly. The location isn’t bad, but the public beach is a walk and costs $ per person so if your group wants easy, regular swimming it’s not ideal for that. Overall a great house and responsive, communicative owner.

Okay - but
House was big and well stocked, but upstairs a/c did not work and landscaping outside was overgrown. House is showing its age. Water pressure in the kitchen was barely a trickle and manager said "sorry" that's just the way it is.

In 7 years, I have never had a 3 star review and I feel bad for your experience. Had I been told that the AC was not working, I would have had it fixed immediately. Instead, I learned of it after check out when my cleaning staff alerted me. Turns out the thermostat upstairs needed to be replaced. Our conversation about the water pressure was not at all as you described. I explained that I had replaced the kitchen faucet and the water pressure is.due to the water saving feature of the faucet. Since I consistently get 5 star reviews, I can only guess that this was not the right house for you.

Sons wedding
Our stay at South Shore cottage was prefect for our family that consisted of two 3 year old's and 9 adults and 1 88 pound boxer. There was plenty of space for all of us to gather as well as comfortably retreat to our bedrooms. It was 2 blocks from the lake and a few more to town. I would definitely stay here again.

South Shore House Delivers!
The rooms were as beautiful as advertised. The dining and living rooms + porch were very accommodating to my large family and 3 little ones under 5! We loved the location and proximity to Lake Geneva. It’s a gorgeous area and the house served us well. PS — the outside grounds are lovely and may be due for some trimming.

Great weekend away
This was the first time our group of 7 women brought partners and children on our annual ladies weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a better house to be in. Plenty of space, a well-appointed kitchen, centrally located (my toddler loved the playground just down the street)...the whole process was smooth and easy, which made our weekend together so much fun.

Outstanding family vacation
This was our 1st extended family vacation. We had 6 adults and 6 kids (aged 4-12). The house was PERFECT! The rooms were big and comfy! Lots of bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The kids loved the back house with all the bunk beds. The patio was super comfy and welcoming for adult hang out after kids went to bed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots/pans/plates, etc we needed. We definitely would love to stay here again next year!!!

Everyone in my family loved this Christmas gift from Mom.
we loved the closeness to town, the open space in the home for the whole family to enjoy each other’s company, The pool table was a wonderful winter time asset as almost everyone in our family of 11 took turns playing pool. Seven my 12 year old granddaughter enjoyed playing with her dad and uncles. It was a fabulous together time for all 5 of my grown children and their spouses to enjoy time together as they they live in 4 different states.

Great Thanksgiving stay
This home was perfect! Our gathering was fairly large and the house plus Barracks suited us perfectly. The bedrooms were amazing and each upstairs room with full bathroom made for easy mornings with no one waiting for the shower. Gathering space living room and porch accommodated is well. Mom’s 90th birthday
Wonderful home and location. 2 blocks from the lake, the lake trail, and about 6. Blocks from town. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms and beds. Great outdoor seating area. We used the barracks in the back and slept another 8 people. Clean, warm and convenient Tisha was super helpful!

Great place for Women's weekend
I just spent the weekend here with 22 other women all family! It was a fabulous place. Plenty of room for all of us. Easy walk to downtown and the path around the lake. The house and barracks were exactly as we expected. Wonderful experience all around.

Fantastic!!!
This property has everything needed for a large family or group to have a fantastic vacation or business outing. The house is located within walking distance to the waterfront, boat rentals, restaurants and night life. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location. House is getting dated
Wonderful location walking distance from Geneva. The owner was very nice and helpful. House is getting a bit dated. Not uncommon for a full time rental but could use a few upgrades make the price seem worth it. $1k in service fees and cleaning makes the total fee a lot more than it should.

Thank you for your comments. As a rental, the house does take more of a beating than a normal house. Your stay came at the end of a very busy summer and I always use the off season to make repairs, paint and upgrade. It's always good to get the observations from a new set of eyes. As for the price, my rates have stayed the same for 4 years but the service fees have jumped and unfortunately, my complaints to VRBO have fallen on deaf ears.

Perfect family house
Our family of 5 adults & 4 teenagers were truly comfortable & impressed by this lovely Lake Geneva house. The shared space was large enough for us all, furnished & decorated beautifully, clean & fun! Our bedrooms were large & clean, with comfortable, pretty bedding, tvs & en suite bathrooms for each. We all enjoyed the pool table, large shared table, fully stocked kitchen., & outdoor spaces. We were able to walk into town. Special kudos to our host, who allowed us to check in early & check out a bit late, too. She responded to all questions & requests quickly. We highly recommend Southshore House!

Perfect family reunion home
Perfect for family-great location to access what Lake Geneva has to offer-plenty of room, plenty of different areas for family to read, or be together-nice outdoor area in gazebo and back deck for eating. Close to trail around lake for walking-block away. Block away from the beach. Close to the Riviera Beach -we just walked to the beach and also walking distance to downtown. There is a miniature golf just 2 blocks away for fun too!

Lovely family reunion
We loved staying in lake Geneva after an epic wedding weekend. We came from alaska and Maryland and met in the middle for three days. It was a hit wave so we were so grateful for a beautiful home to visit and enjoy, relax and share all together. Perfect place for families. Everyone enjoyed the pool table, veranda and large grill. Tish was a very gracious and available host. We spread out to the barracks so had plent of room for our 18 family members

Lake shore house
The house was in a great location that was easily accessible to downtown. It was comfortable for 10-12 adults in the main house. One bedroom was very small and the porch bunk beds were fun for the kids to play on, but parents didn’t feel comfortable having them spend the night there. The gazebo was dirty with cobwebs and dead bugs. The kitchen is well stocked, but small. The gates were hard to operate. Air conditioning was not working when we arrived but host was very responsive and provided box fans and had ac fixed the next day.

Above and beyond Lake Geneva property
Tisha’s property exceeded every one of our group’s expectations. We had a very large group retreat planned (23 people) and the house more than accommodated us. The common spaces were as large as advertised, and the bedrooms were spacious and well equipped. The barracks, housing 8 of us, felt like summer camp and were perfect for our needs. This will be my first stop if I ever book another group trip to Lake Geneva. Thanks Tisha!
