I was very disappointed about the breakfast, they advised on the website breakfast included. It was orange juice, granola bars, and coffee. I was expecting a full hot, and cold breakfast. They should change the website to a continental breakfast. If I it was advised as that, we wouldn't have stayed there.

Clean, cozy rooms with carpet and windows that open. Friendly, accommodating staff, and guests have use of the adirondack chairs, fire pit, connect 4, and playground for kids. Easy access to rooms and just a hop away from the lake/bike trail. Best value for the money in Lake George.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed staying here for a number of reasons; the bed was super comfortable with good pillows, it was warm, it was quiet, and there was parking right outside the door for easy unloading of suitcases etc... The lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable for dining and shopping and offered me a plethora of choices. The room and bathroom were super clean, with many towels available. I liked the breakfast bar, althought limited, it was so nice to have a cup of tea waiting for you! I won't hesistate to stay here again, it was great!

So many other better options in the area!!
We are staying in Lake George area about four times a year, every season. So we've seen the goods, the bads and the uglys. Unfortunately this one ranks in the last category. We chose this hotel based on ok past reviews and due to the fact that breakfast was included, so we agreed on paying a little bit more for that, as breakfast in restaurants are pricey. Well, breakfast consist of.... One granola bar per person! How can you even pretend a granola bar is a breakfast? Other points to consider : -Room is outdated and in very bad shape (beds are old and uncomfy so are the linens, old furniture, in bad shape. Carpet was dirty, the floor is unevent in many spots. Terrible sound of what we tought was ventilation, (not sure where it was coming from) -Room is not sound proof at all, we eard the next door guess tv, toilets, etc. -There was discutable quality of guess around, doing drugs on the balcony, smoking all day and nite and chatting outside doing a lots of noise in the middle of the night. -No cleanliness at all, there was a dirty towel in the middle of the room when we entered, tree leafs around the place, hairs on the bathub and the toilet... We left our luggage outside overnight and put it right to laundry to avoid bringing back some indesirables home! All in all, you should consider staying somewhere else.

Clean, comfy, well priced
Check in/out was easy, the room was clean and comfortable, and we had a very nice stay. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars were minor inconveniences - very few outlets in the room, so we had to constantly unplug items to use others, and move a large wardrobe to access the outlet behind it. Could have just been the room we had, so despite that we'd stay again.

Agréable et près de tout
Très bien situé, bel accueil, par contre pas de service de ménage, je suis allé à la réception demandé ce que nous avions besoin et l'avons reçu. Ne vous fiez pas à "dejeuner inclus" car vous allez être déçu comme nous. On devait aller a la réception le matin chercher le déjeuner qui comprenait un verre de jus accompagné d'un barre tendre. Sinon nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

The rooms are not very insulated for sound….. We had a bunch of cigarette smokers around us so sitting outside was a not very pleasant. The room above us had cement shoes banging overhead at very early hours ….and the lighting in the room was very dark

Perfect overnight spot
This was the right room for the right price! Our king size bed was comfortable; room was clean; the fabulous staff member who checked us in could not have been more accommodating and helpful, particularly in securing a place for us to park our boat; and we really appreciated the aesthetics of the property and location, location, location!

The bathroom was so small. You were jammed in to go to the toilet. Has tiny toilet also. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom ruined our stay at that hotel.

The check in time was 3 pm and check out 11 am which means not even 24 hrs stay but paid in full & included breakfast was only coffee, orange soup & nut bar. Inside the room coffee machine was so dirty & no oven to warm up food. So disappointed

Belle endroit mais durant la nuit des cognements sont survenu à plusieurs reprises durant trois heure difficile de dire si ça venais, de plus la femme de chambre a cogner et est entrée sans attendre pendant que nous dormions. Des motos on démarre tôt en laissant le moteur rouler sur le idel pendant plusieurs minutes juste à coter ne notre porte. Donc pas un nuit agréable.

The room was great, bathroom re-done, plenty of hot water and easy parking. The advertised continental breakfast was OJ, Coffee & energy bars. thankfully, a Stewarts quick shop was across the street with breakfast sandwiches.

Our family has stayed here two summers now. the rooms may not be up to date with all of the high expensive hotels however the rooms are clean and kept up. The owners and staff are awesome! They had activities each night we were there. Fire pits for gathering at night, swimming pool, playground and much more. Easy walking distance to downtown shops! I know my family of 5 will continue stating here every summer. Plus the price is great for a family looking to get away.

The hotel is very old, outdated. Breakfast mentioned as included is total fraud. They merely give granola bars and orange juice )kept in an old dirty pitcher) near the reception area on a shelf. The comforter was torn and had the cotton filling on the comforter coming out. It is Not worth the price and I will Not recommend this place to anybody. The rooms are old, small and congested.

“Non smoking” room. The second we came in, the smell of cigarette smoke was super strong. We asked at the front desk to be moved to another room, but the person said they couldn’t, because they were full for the night, but that they would plug-in an ionizer and that would get rid of the smell; the ionizer did nothing. The smell was so strong that stuck to our clothes skin and hair. My wife was so disappointed in me (not a good thing). Also, the wall/ceiling corners had spiders with spiders webs. Not enough light in the room. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, window is left one for some ventilation. You can clearly hear the next door guests, no privacy at all.

When we checked in at 3pm, our room wasn’t ready. She didn’t give us any info regarding where our room was located. The hotel advertises breakfast available, but only coffee, tea juice and granola bar was available. We waited a half hour and when we got in there, the floor was filthy . The bathroom shower curtain was ripped and falling apart. The bathroom counter is coming off the wall. And there was no spare blankets for sleeping. Would not recommend super 8 lake George .

Personable and knowledgeable front desk clerk. Loved the Adirondack decor in my room. Direct TV and Wi-Fi was a plus. Very comfortable bed. Got a great nights sleep. Within walking distance of all of Lake George Village.
