Excellent host communication. House was everything as described. Plenty of room for three generations and bonus family time in the game & theatre rooms. Grandkids loved the unique bunk beds. Kitchen extremely well stocked. Perfect location between the ski resorts.

We had an absolute lovely time here. We were looking for a place where we could hang out and spend time as a family for my moms 70th birthday. It was perfect for her. The kids loved the movie theater. They spent most of their time in there, watching there favorite shows on a big screen. The bunk bed room was very cool. The fact there is a television and light on each bed was awesome. It was nicely decorated and everything was cozy. My mom said this was the best gift we could have given. Just hanging out, play board games, watching movies and enjoying a fire pit. My kids were sad when we had to leave. Would 100% stay here again.

The layout of the home is almost ideal with spaces to let people get away from a large group yet the main areas allowed all of us to gather together with ease and comfort. None of the kids wanted to leave because the house was so much fun (one day's activities were rained out) so we had a HOUSE day and the fun did not end all day. It is not possible to have this house disappoint you!

King-size Comfort

Lovely home, plenty of room for our family of 12, with the added comfort of king-size beds for the adult couples, and a fun bunk room for the kids. Easy day trip to Knoebels from the house, too!

Nice Family Getaway

Stayed for 4 nights(6 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs). Overall would recommend. Plenty of space for everyone and the kids loved the games, theater, and fire pit. Host provided a s'mores kit and snacks for the movie theater which were a nice touch. The kid bunks are in the basement with the games and theater. There's a small bath down there with laundry. Floors can be heated which would have been great in colder months. By far the coldest level of the house. The main floor has 2 bedrooms with a hall bath shower/tub combo. The bonus room with the shuffleboard doesn't have A/C so it got very warm. The top floor has the other bedroom and the master. The soaking tub is in the master. The bath on that floor with the walk-in shower is shared. The house has a tankless water heater so plenty of hot water but the pressure wasn't enough to use the large rain showerhead although we enjoyed the other jet/spray options. Upstairs rooms were warm (especially the one that isn't the master) but we were able to use the multiple small plug-in fans to keep them cooler. Our family enjoyed hiking in Hickory Run State Park. Would recommend Shades of Death Trail for an interesting hike that was good for all ages (our party ranged from 6-70 yrs). Also spent a day at Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark which was about 30 minutes away and worth the drive. Had breakfast at nearby Terra Cottage which was great but cannot say the same for Nick's Lakehouse where the food was beyond disappointing.

Host never responded to me or VRBO. Wholly unsatisfactory

We never got to stay! We reserved the house weeks in advance through Vrbo for us, our children and grandchildren, and Vrbo was more than happy to accept our payment. Despite several TMs and phone messages before we were scheduled to arrive, the host never responded. Nor could Vrbo get in touch with her. The result was that when we were within an hour of the house, Vrbo gave up and refunded our money. We then had to scramble to find accommodations for our children and grandchildren who were participating in a gymnastics meet. We ourselves (age 75 and 72) could not find a place to stay with our dog and had to turn around and drive all the way home. Then the next day, the host blithely posted that SHE had cancelled the reservations because of “minimum age requirement” a wild digression from the truth. Anyone who is tempted to try to rent this property does so at great risk. Caveat emptor!

Epic vacation

Everything was great. The house was organized and clean, perfect for our three families with five kids and 6 adults. Lots of fun places to hang out giving everyone space to be in smaller groups or all together. Well stocked with kitchenware and little movie snacks and towels. Good location. Really fun stay for all!!!

Amazing

Even with bad weather we had an amazing trip thanks to this house! There was so much to do! Kitchen was stocked with anything you could need. Furniture was comfy and decor was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

New Tradition

We had a very quiet stay. Thats what we were looking for. There were 8 of us all different ages and needed some time away. The place is fantastic, the views, the rooms, the bathrooms are all awesome. The hot tub was a hit of course but the Game rooms won everyone over especially the Infinity Table! Great that I could have my dog with me on vacation for once. Will do again!
