This house was beautiful and extremely comfortable. We were a large group of 23 with kids and teens and it always felt spacious. The location was close to all for a weekend of skiing and snow tubing. I would definitely recommend and come back. The host was very communicative and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paddles and Poles. The house was very clean and had all of the amenities you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. Communication with the owner was excellent and arrival couldn't have been smoother. The only suggestion we have is to have working ice makers. Other than that we have no complaints. We highly recommend Paddles and Poles.

Family reunion

We had 30 people for a family reunion and it was so wonderful. The elevator and handicap accessible bathroom was perfect for our matriarch. The kids enjoyed the property and we all enjoyed the game room. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful lake. It was a beautiful home well fought out and well stocked.

Great place for large group and multiple families!

A group of friends (16 adults) and our young kids (10 ages 1-5) stayed very comfortably in this home. The number of bathrooms was great, the spacious living space and deck was also appreciated. We used the fire pit every night. Compared to another location we've stayed in the Poconos previously, this area had a lot more nearby including kid appropriate hikes, a splash pad, and a farmers market.

Amazing house for large group!

This is a great location and house for a large group - we loved having so much space. The bathroom to bedroom ratio is great and everything was clean and spacious. We loved using the hot tub, fire pit, games in the basement, and the large tables made every meal so lovely to have as a group! We loved being able to connect to the speaker, the large island in kitchen, 2 dishwashers and ovens. It was a great space for a big group reunion. We were 18 adults and felt really comfortable and we could have added in a few more adults with no issues. I only wish they had more kayaks for a group with such a large capacity on property, but it’s a close walk to their lake entrance and a very short drive to boat rentals, a grocery store, and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and are planning to come back for our next reunion!

Perfect for our needs

This place was perfect for our needs. We could all be together while still having the privacy of our own bedroom and bathroom. The elevator was so helpful for our elderly mother to get from one floor to another. The handicap accessible shower was also great. And since it rained a lot during our stay, the house gave us great space to be together, play games, and enjoy each other's company. Places like this are hard to find! So glad we found this one!!

REALLY RECOMMEND

We really really enjoyed this beautiful house which comes with a cozy outdoors hot tub that is amazing on a cold night. It’s a very spacious and fresh house with big bedrooms. We also had a great time in the basement which has a lot of fun games. Also the service is top rate and and we received VIP treatment, a really nice guy that accommodated all our needs.

Five year anniversary

Twenty-three amazing professional women from various ages from 29 to 60+ wanted to get together to celebrate our five year anniversary in a professional organization. This house was amazing! The host responses, room sizes, pictures, cleanliness, and well- appointed accommodations aligned with the five star reviews. Having an elevator was a huge plus for luggage and to accommodate chef supplies. The parking lot only accommodates ten parking spots, but with coordination, we made it happen. A few of us also took advantage of walking outdoors to see the lake and neighborhood. Besides walking along the shoulder of the road, there is no outdoor walking space nearby. Overall, this was an excellent location/house and we all had a great time!!

Long time friends Reunion

We rented this property in mid October 2024. The entire house was immaculate. Very clean house. The host was very responsive. Elevator was blessing. We mainly used it for taking luggage to upper level. Only concern was of an access to the house from main road. Short section of road is not paved and not properly identified. Other than that we would definitely rent this place again.
