Brand New Unique Cabin with a Modern feel.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly cabin. The cabin has access to "Riverbend" which has two lakes, nature trail along the river with a waterfall, swimming hole, scenic beach at Mirror Lake with a fishing pier. The cabin is walking distance from kayaking/tubing access points. The Love Shack is only minutes from the heart of Lake Lure. This one of a kind log cabin is perfect for your getaway. We look forward to you being our guest.

The Features of the cabin include 2 bedrooms, 4 queen beds with a pullout sofa, 2.5 bathrooms, propane bbq grill, wifi, and large flat screen tv in the living room. You will love the open kitchen with upscale appliances. The master bedroom on the main level includes a spacious bathroom with a shower. The bedroom upstairs also features a spacious bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The eagles nest, crows nest, and pullout sofa allow for extra sleeping space. A mix of retro and modern, the living room is quite space perfect for social gatherings.
This log cabin has entertainment for everyone. Under the large Tv in the living room is a gas fireplace along with a brand new stereo system. There is ​comfortable space in the kitchen and dining area as well. The outdoor area includes a hammock, corn hole set up, and a fire pit. Enjoy the beautiful sunset from the inviting front porch with outdoor screened in seating area. Overall extremely creatively decorated "The Love Shack" is sure to be a favorite for your annual vacation to Lake Lure.

Eclectic and cozy

This was one of the most unique cabins I’ve ever stayed in. There was so much personality in every corner of it. My friends and I had fun finding all of the Knick knacks. We named one of the beta fish and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The location is great. Lake Lure is rebuilding from the hurricane and it was great to be able to come and support the community. We met some great locals and even took a short drive to Black Mountain! The hosts are amazing and communicate really well. Definitely recommending this place to anyone coming to the area.

Wonderful house!

We loved the house. It’s conveniently located to a lake beach, places to launch kayaks and canoes, and a perfect swimming lake for all ages. Our host has really made the place fun! Our young adult children enjoyed finding the “easter eggs” around the house. The photos online are slightly outdated because we did not know about the new deck and picnic area out back. What a treat! It would be good to let people know two of the queen beds are located in lofts. We did not need them so it didn’t matter to us. Their access is not for the feint of heart! Amazing and we would rent again! Thank you so much.

Relaxing Log Cabin Home

What a fun and whimsical place to stay!! Lights, small figurines in unexpected places, all the comforts you could ask for!! Fish named… Sonny and Cher!! We were looking for a place to get away for a long weekend, and this was perfect- so comfortable to return to after daily hiking the mountains and exploring Lake Lure, Black Mountain and Asheville.

An experience of its own!

This house is an experience in, and of, itself! There are so many fun decorations that are tied to specific memories of the owners with 2 kid-friendly lofts that provided an adventure for our 10year old+ kids!

Love Shack

We came to Lake Lure to do some outdoor activities. We enjoyed climbing Chimney Rock, ziplining and white water rafting. We took one day to go to Dollywood. We had a great time and enjoyed the stay immensely.

Loveshack

Very interesting property called the “Loveshack”. Owner left a nice note and goodies in the fridge. Very nice surprise! Loved being close to the river, lake and private neighborhood!!!! Too close to busy highway as it was noisy. WiFi not working and front door lock would not lock using code but we enjoyed our stay. No response from manager. Would have liked to have had part of the grassy area fenced in for the dog and kids to run around without worrying about traffic.

Nice cabin

The cabin was exactly as pictured. You do hear road noise from inside, but the road isn’t very busy. A nice selection of games for rainy days. The loft areas I can see as being great for kids! Short drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Our biggest challenge was comfort— the beds have a foam topper with a plastic cover that was too soft and dipped in the middle. The upstairs bathroom doesn’t drain well so you’re standing in several inches of water at the end of your shower.

Cozy cabin

The cabin wasn’t very large, but was very efficient for what it had. The only important thing to know is that it was on a relatively busy road and getting up in to some of the beds involves climbing up a ladder.

Lake Lure East

An attractive log cabin with all the comforts at the east end of the town of Lake Lure. Having access to the Mirror lake swimming and hiking facilities was a real plus. Being next to a busy road was a drawback but the house was solidly built and road noise did not penetrate much.

Beautiful cabin, great neighborhood!

This beautiful and comfortable cabin was great for my family of 4 vacation. Two kids, 10 and 12 loved the “crow’s nest” and “eagle’s nest” nook sleeping spaces. I loved that it was a 5 minute walk to a dog-friendly swimming hole and a 10-minute walk to the beach of Hickory Nut Lake and a fantastic river rapid slide—so fun! The cabin sits right on Hwy 64, so you have to cross that to get to the neighborhood amenities, and the road noise is present, but it was never an issue. 15 minutes to Chimney Rock State Park and close to Lake Lure restaurants and beach—but we didn’t need Lake Lure because the Hickory Nut Lake was so gorgeous and close! I’d love to come back!
