Ägare SUZANNE HAUPTs "WHATAVIEW" är lämpligt namngiven. Två nivåer av skärmad veranda och öppna däck erbjuder utsökt utsikt över solnedgången bakom Rumbling Bald Mountain och Big Mirror Lake strax nedanför. Steg till sjön, stranden, vattenfallet och floden.

Bokningar kan göras med $ 200. 00 deposition med personlig check till ägare, kreditkort eller e-check on line.

Uthyrning mellan Arbete och Minnesdagen kommer från lördag till lördag.

Om bokningen är mindre än en vecka kommer bokningen att vara 350 natten.

Denna vackert inredda tre sovrum stuga erbjuder extra sovande för två på loftet. Stugan rymmer upp till åtta.

Bottenvåningen är tillgänglig för rullstol. Både vardagsrummet och rekreationsrummet har gaseldspisar och plattskärms-TV. Andra faciliteter inkluderar ett välfyllt bibliotek, kort och spel, gasgrill och utomhus picknickbord till sittplats 10-12 gäster, utomhus eldstaden med sittplatser, AC, takfläktar på både skärmad veranda, diskmaskin och stor kapacitet tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Alla sängkläder tillhandahålls inklusive badlakan.

På platsen finns en härlig sandy badstrand, en kanot för din användning, en fiskedocka, två paviljonger med picknickbord och grillar och vandringsleder där du hittar vattenfall som tömmer in i Broad River.

Närliggande attraktioner inkluderar sceniska båtturer och middagskryssningar på Lake Lure, forsränning, forsränning, tennis, golf, ridning och minigolf. Nära till: Biltmore Estate & Winery, NC Arboretum, Great Smokey Mountain National Park, Tryon Equestrian Center, zipfodring på The Gorge i närbelägna Saluda (för de extremt adventerous), Grandfather Mountain och Dollywood låna sig till minnesvärda utflykter. Great location!

A fantastic location by Lake Mirror. Great setup for families and multiple guests. Lake mirror is fantastic and clean and we all fished and enjoyed.

Beautiful mountain retreat

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in the mountains. He had no problem getting around the cabin in his wheelchair. The cabin and lake were a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Great views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views were as good as advertised. Location is excellent. It’s in a gated community with a lake, small beach, and short hiking trails to a waterfall and river. The only shortcoming is that the third bedroom is not quite a full “bedroom”Has all of the basic kitchenware.

Relax at the Lake

We really enjoyed our time away at the cabin. My idea if vacation is peace and relaxation without crowds and thats just what we found here! The AC at the cabin works great! Love the mountain view from the kitchen sink and master bath!

Nice but . . .

The house is located in a neighborhood called River Bend which is located on top of a mountain with dirt , steep, and winding roads with sheer drop offs. You need to be careful driving to and fro the house in this neighborhood. The GPS and internet were hit or miss while driving to the house (not owner's fault). If you have kids, the lake is a stone's throw away which is a plus. The house was neat and tidy but dark (It was surrounded by trees with few windows). The a/c was cool enough on the main and bottom floors, not so with the upper floor (you could not sleep on the top floor at night). (It was high 80's and low 90's outside when we stayed there). I slept on the bottom floor bedroom which did not have any curtains on the sliding glass door (which the owner should remedy). You got up when the sun rose, like it or not. It was peaceful there. No noise. The bed sheets and bath towels were old. This oversight is a simple fix and would make the stay better. The house was large and close to the lake. The house was close to my brother's house which is why I rented this house. We saw two deer on the side of the road while driving back to the house one night. I had an okay time staying at this house but would not rent this house or any house at River Bend again.

House was beautifully decorated, loved the screen in decks, the the downside was the water was great if you enjoy cold showers, a Keurig coffee maker would've been nice , some sort of shading the glass doors facing lake would've been nice other than that , the family had a nice time

It was a beautiful cabin and the view was breath taking. The only disappointment was the steps away from the lake. I really thought we would be right on the water with our private little adventure but that was not the case. It was literally steps down the side of a bank. It was rough going back to the cabin. However, that was my fault, I should have made sure we were on the lake as I had hoped. Overall the stay was peaceful, beautiful, and the cabin offered all of our family needs along with plenty of room. Thanks for sharing your cabin with my family and I.

Glad to be Back

My husband and I stayed at this property a little over a year ago, and decided to return for a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle at home. The place is truly gorgeous...well furnished and stocked with all the essentials. The two screened porches are a BIG asset in mosquito territory, and the gas fireplaces are just right for those cool mornings and evenings. A great quiet place for couples, but also big enough for the whole family. Had a great time!

Great Getaway

This is a really nice place to getaway. It was just the 2 of us in this very spacious cabin. Coffee on the deck in the morning was amazing. Don't fret over the "offroad" experience to get to the cabin. It's well worth the trouble.

Sisters getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were great. Great views of the water at the beach after a short climb down some steps to the water. Susie was very responsive and great to deal with. The Wi-Fi was a little slow at times but we really didn’t need to use it much for our stay. We had a wonderful time and loved the area! The deck and screened porch were a plus and was so nice being able to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. It is a gated community so a key code or scan card is needed to get in after 6. There are instructions in the check in section. I would stay again! I loved the homie feel of the cabin with plenty of room for us to have our own space.

Family trip

This property was awesome we loved to log cabin and all its charm. We loved enjoying the screened porches and the fire places. Was a great way to spend some quality time with our family. Didn’t even turn the TV on the whole weekend. Susie was a great host and we would totally come back again.

Annual family vacation

Absolutely loved the location of the property to mirror lake. It was our second year staying in Riverbend, and though the stairs are steep, super convenient to be right there! House was large enough for the whole family and multiple generations. Only thing is the cleaning could have been a bit better. There were cob webs that have been there for a long time and not touched but I know that’s the cleaning crews that come through. The master bedroom “door” was a bit interesting and then no door to the master bathroom so even when everyone was downstairs still felt that you weren’t closed off. The owner was super responsive, had to reach out a couple times during our stay and after and was always helpful! We absolutely love the area and have made it our destination for our family vacation every year!

Handicap friendly—not truly accessible

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Whataview cabin. As advertised, the view of the lake, trees, and mountains are beautiful. Also, there is a variety of affordable up to expensive dining options that we enjoyed—all within 15 minutes from the cabin. For us though, we recommend avoiding if you require full wheelchair accessibility. The bathroom on the main floor is not accessible at all. If fully wheelchair bound, then be aware you will need to take your vehicle down to the lake. Neither the fire pit area nor the path down to the lake are wheelchair accessible.

Lovely setting that needs a few calculations

The rental is located in a lovely setting that offers lots of nearby activities: swimming, picnicking, zip lining, horse back riding, etc. Loved the deck, screened porch and dog gate! Great views from the house! Plenty of areas to hang out in the house for a family or friends group. A few issues: The rental does not come equipped with basics such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning solution, etc, Be prepared to bring everything you need. The rental lacks a door to the bathroom on the top level. If you want privacy, you have to ask people to leave the upstairs area. The rental is many steep steps away from the lakefront. The entrance to the housing development requires a gate code. We did not receive it - make sure to ask for this.

This is one of the nicest cabins we have ever stayed in near lake Lure. Most cabins do not have the ambience and decorative touches that makes 329 Chipmunk many steps above the rest. Between the view, the cabin decor, and the owner's concern about our comfort makes this a cabin we wil surely return to,

Thanksgiving

Me and my husband celebrated Thanksgiving with our son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and our dogs. The view is absolutely beautiful and the house is in a great, convenient location.
