Tucked in the opening of a quiet cove on the shores of Lake Lure, The Red is more than a lake house — it’s a place where time slows down, worries drift away, and memories are made.

After weathering the storm of hurricane Helene and the subsequent floods, this special home has been lovingly reborn, emerging stronger, fresher, and more beautiful than ever.

We’re truly excited to welcome you into this lakeside sanctuary.

The space

Here, the world outside fades as soon as you arrive. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame ever-changing lake and mountain views that make you feel like you’re gently floating on the water. Morning light dances across the decks, afternoons invite lazy lounging, and evenings sparkle with stars reflected on the still lake under the moonlight.

Additional Details:

A rental boat may be docked on the property if arranged in advance (a $750 refundable security deposit is required).

Parking: Maximum of 3 cars.
