For guests eager to be on the go constantly in order to experience all that the area has to offer, this ideally located property places you just minutes from top things to do.

Two entrances. The first/main entrance just steps from the assigned parking spaces. The second is in the rear ( see the photo ) that exists to the open common grass area from the lower bedroom.

The host was very responsive and provided great communication. The property is just as clean and beautiful as the photos, with no details untouched, including lots of helpful details and staples in the house. It was a fantastic location just minutes away from everything Lake Placid and olympics, as well as lots of outdoor activities. Whiteface for skiing was an easy and outrageously beautiful 15 or so minute drive. A great stay!

Host was welcoming and the accommodations were comfortable. We had a group of 6 and all were comfortable. Easy to get into town and convenient to drive to Whiteface. Two areas could use some attention: WiFi in the townhouse is quite spotty and pots, pans, knives, baking sheets, coffee maker, etc. could use an upgrade. We enjoyed our time.

Great condo. Close to downtown Lake Placid. About 20 minute drive to Whiteface Mountain ski resort. Owner was very responsive but respectful of our privacy. Condo was clean and well furnished. The gas fireplace was a nice amenity after a day skiing. Definitely recommend this property. We will be back.

We stayed for a long weekend to visit with family north of Lake Placid. This home was perfect for two couples and a 15-month old. Check-in was easy, the host communicated well and was very responsive, the home was very clean and well stocked, and the location was fantastic! A perfect place for our visit, thanks. We will most likely stay here for future visits.

CanAm Hockey Stay

Property was clean and as described. House proximity to the Olympic Center was short and easy. We stayed with other hockey parents and players and we all had a room to stay in, the kids loved the downstairs living area to play their video games while the adults could relax upstairs and even out on the porch with the weather hitting 70 degrees! highly recommend staying here and we will surely do it again next year!

Good spot, as described, moderate value

I stayed here with two other families for ski races at Mt VH. Many pros and only a few cons that others may see as a pros. Host was terrific - good communication, responsive, only downside was minor inconvenience of not getting code for entry until morning of. Families were traveling separately and I was working - meant getting them code last minute. House - excellent location, very clean, kitchen was nicely stocked with staples like salt, pepper, tea which was much appreciated, although didn't know from description we could count on that. Plenty of cookware, plates, cutlery etc for cooking and baking. Not being able to adjust temperature control on main floor was a bit of a challenge for a group that likes a cool house - understand hosts are probably reasonably concerned with opposite - people leaving house empty with the thermostat up. Even though you can adjust temps in bedrooms upstairs, the main floor was uncomfortably warm and made the upstairs uncomfortable for sleeping even with upstairs adjustable thermostats turned way down. A few beds were very firm - some like that. I had to find a rental within about 6 weeks of stay because the other VRBO I had reserved was cancelled by the host/realtor so paid a premium for this rental - looks like it was nearly 75% more than is charged at other times during the winter season. With a 250 cleaning fee for 2 nights and another service charge, would likely not rent again for the 700/night total cost unless limited options.

Perfect Family Getaway

The condo was clean, well equipped, and a very short walk to town. The owner wanted to make sure we took advantage of every amenity available and gave great suggestions on where to eat and places to visit. It was a perfect location and I would definitely stay there again.

This condo is perfectly situated. Close enough to walk to town center, far enough away for a quiet stay. Well appointed, clean and perfect for a multi generation stay. Loved the lawn area..perfect for watching the eclipse! Great communication with the host. Will definitely return the next visit to Lake Placid.

Weekend get away

This was our first-time visiting Lake Placid. We came for the mountain roller coaster. Not only did we enjoy the coaster we had a great time visiting the area. The kids have requested that we come back in the summer and to book this property again. It fit our family nicely, was clean, seemed to be conveniently located and the owners were responsive when we had a question.

Annual Fall Foliage trip

Conveniently located to town, restaurants, hiking trails and stores. Comfortable beds. We had four adults and a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old. Plenty of room for the family gatherings and to have separate sleep and entertainment areas. We will definitely be back!
