Vrbo’s software needs an overhaul The house was as advertised and worked out well for us. Instructions are needed for appliances and entertainment center. A code is needed for the hot tub speakers. A vegetable peeler would be nice to have. The entry keypad did not work easily. Overall we had a nice stay.

Good place for family- needs a bit of upkeep
Beautiful location- hot tub, lake and nice space indoors with lots of windows. Kitchen with 2(!) dishwashers is great for large groups. Sadly, the nearly-new cabinets are falling apart (doors falling off). It took some time to get help when we had no hot water- tho once we got ahold of them they were quick and fixed the issue. Overall a great place for teens and family!

Beautiful view with in-town accessibility for a large group
This was a fantastic open concept location that was well decorated and had a gorgeous view of the lake for our extended family to gather as we attended a wedding. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone to spread out and get up and ready simultaneously. There was hot water while numerous people showered and great water pressure as well. The family room had plenty of comfortable seating options facing the lake and nearby a beautiful stone fireplace that was easy to operate. The kitchen had a fantastic long large table that seated at least 12 people. Be sure to bring your own spices, coffee, sugar or cooking oils, etc if need be as those were not stocked. There are a huge selection of board games and a number of smart TVs around the house for plenty of places to enjoy entertainment. We were pleasantly surprised to find kayaks in the basement and a hot tub on site - we don't remember seeing those originally listed. Note that there were a few places that the cleaning team missed where garbage turned up and used linens were found. They are also due for a handyman to stop in and address some easy to fix items that will make this a five-star stay (items mentioned by previous guests in their reviews still have not been addressed). Overall, this was a great spot to for out of town family to gather and stay comfortably, while easily exploring Lake Placid!

The property itself was beautiful and the view of the lake and mountains was gorgeous. One of the washing machines did not work. There was standing water in it and it would not drain. There was no remote for one of the upstairs tv’s and another was missing batteries. From a child safety standpoint the outside deck rails were a little wobbly and small children can easily fall under the rail. The stairs to the basement have an open area where small children could easily fall. The slider facing the road has no blinds and the people living in the apartments across the road can sit and look straight into the house. Blinds would be nice. The owner did not respond to questions prior to our arrival which would have been helpful to us but was very responsive when we were there when contacted on various things. Overall this home was quite beautiful.

Lake placid family vacation
Overall nice property. Plenty of space and nice big kitchen and dining area. Enjoyed the large deck and close proximity to town. Messaged the host with a question I had two days before the trip and he never responded. Also, would love to see a screen on slider to the deck could keep door open due to bugs coming in. All bedrooms had fans but only one had air conditioning would be more comfortable on a hot summer night to have air conditioning.

Great location to everything to do in Lake Placid
Booked this location for a family (12 adults and a 6 month old) for a weekend vacation. Comfortably fit everyone, had enough bathrooms they no one was waiting, and great amenities. My family enjoyed cooking dinners in the large kitchen and dining room, loved taking the kayaks out on the lake, and taking a quick drive to Mirror Lake to walk around. Would recommend this place.

Beautiful home in a great location
The house was perfect and exactly as expected. Clean, completely updated and lovely. The location is ideal with it being so close to town but also right on the lake so it’s extremely quiet. I would love to stay here again with friends or family during any season!

Great house!
This house was a great find! The main level is extremely spacious and well suited to a large group. The house was very clean and convenient to everything in town. We stayed in the winter so we did not have the opportunity to use the waterfront. It was about 15 minutes to ski mountain. Overall it’s a great property, very comfortable and beautiful.

Perfect Winter Escape
The house is a perfect base to explore Lake Placid in the winter. Walk to downtown and ice skating, dinning, coffee and shops. 20 minute drive to white face. Lots of space to hang around the fire and play board games. Our two families loved are short get away and would love to come back in the Warner weather! Only negative - house is very loud- sound travels in every room.

Magical Christmas Holiday
Exceptional home. Online pictures do not do the home justice or the view. The beds are very comfortable, sheets and towels were great(a big thing that most VRBO owners over look) The owner even had some holiday decor up, which was a lovely touch.

Pretty house in ideal location
Spent 3 nights at the property. It is newly renovated, on Mirror Lake, has a great patio and porch, and water access for kayaks, etc (which are there), and a short walk to town. The 4 start rating reflects a few shortcomings: There were no instructions either online or in the property for how to operate anything. There WERE instructions for how we should do the laundry when departing. The dock is dangerous and needs replacement. Finally, the gas fireplace outside does not function at all and there is no wood for a starter fire in the pit by the water. We would have appreciated an alert when booking exacting what was in the place (no wood, type of coffee maker, etc). Hopefully, the property manager can make a few simple changes to make this a total winner.

Unbelievable
Everything at this property was exceptional and created a great place for our family to gather and honor the sister we lost. Many took advantage of the deck and canoe to enjoy Lake Placid. The location was great to town and to the airport at Saranac Lake. The 'great' room was spacious and allowed many conversations / puzzles to happen at once. Convenient location
We loved our time in Lake Placid at Kevin’s place. He was helpful throughout the trip and easy to communicate with. You can easily leave your car parked for your time here and walk to most things in town. The only thing to note is that the house nextdoor is being renovated. Occasionally there was some noise from power tools, but it appeared it should be completed soon. Overall excellent stay and we’re already planning a trip back.

Lake Placid Vacation - July 2022
The property was excellent and met all of our needs. The house was recently refurbished and enjoyed by everyone in our family, The owner provided a canoe and kyack to allow us to better enjoy the lake and we brought paddle boards with us to add to the lake experience. The outside deck was large and provided an enjoyable place to enjoy the lake scenery throughout our stay. The dock on the water's edge was adequate to launch the canoe and paddleboards etc. but was not contusive to go swimming. My one recommendation for future improvements to the property would be to replace the dock and extend it (if possible) for easier swimming access to the lake. All and all, and excellent property that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in renting it. We had 11 people in our party and were very comfortable with the space provided.

Quick Winter Getaway
We stayed at this house for 3 nights, it was great! The house and location are amazing, the house has EVERYTHING you could possibly need! Mainly because we were traveling with our toddler we were a little nervous about everything we need/ should bring for “just incase”, the two major bonus factors for us were that there were baby gates at the house for the stairs which, allowed us to actually relax in the house. Also, every tv in the house had ALL the apps, Netflix, Hulu, Disney etc, which was amazing for our toddler. It’s a perfect family home and we left with a lot of great memories. Hopefully we can book here again! Oh also very very close to downtown, we drove each night due to the cold weather but you could easily walk. We would pull out of the driveway at 6:55 for a 7 dinner reservation! Grocery store is very close as well, could easily walk to that too!

Had a wonderful holiday here!
My family rented this great property for the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for the crew of 16 which included 9 adults and 7 kids (3 babies in a crib). The view was amazing and we were lucky to get some seasonal snow that made it extra beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely spaces and views!
Spent a terrific week here with my husband, two teenage daughters, their friends, and our dog. The house is beautiful and perfectly outfitted for cooking and comfort — lots of places to sprawl and read, socialize, work, play games, etc. The beds are extra firm but comfortable, towels are plush, and the water pressure is excellent. Really appreciated having a few kayaks and the paddle board for daily excursions. Great parking, garage bays, and deck space. Reasonably quick walk to town and plenty of resources nearby. Beautiful and beyond expectations
Every detail was carefully thought of in this magnificent home. Large families will fit comfortably here! The property was perfectly situated on Lake Placid Bay and had a magnificent view of Whiteface mountain from bedrooms, downstairs and the backyard. Kevin was excellent and available for any questions! There is so much natural light in the home! Very close to downtown Lake Placid and a short walk to some local restaurants and trails nearby! The heated 3 car garage was also a huge bonus in winter months! It really is the perfect location and allows guests to Spread out or spend time together! Beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms were all beautifully designed! Water heated very quickly to hot and had great pressure! We would definitely return here in a heartbeat!! 5 stars all around!
