“Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“I chose the Solano Inn for my wedding weekend as it was close to our venue and had the room to accommodate ourselves and small number of family members attending. One word comes to mind...meh. It was just ok. The rooms looked fairly clean at first glance, but don't look too close! Don't look behind furniture or at the baseboards and certainly don't look under the bed! We found a condom wrapper under our bed along with a TV remote, hair on the baseboards and light plugs and my brother found...

“This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.”

“This hotel is easy and comfortable if you travel by car and travel for business nearby. It is also good for long-stay 30+ days and more, this because the rooms have a full kitchen and are quite spacious. If you enjoy city life you should rather go to central Hartford. ”

“We stayed here to be close to the TPC River Highlands golf course. It was super convenient. It is well situated to get around to many different towns to do day trips and big box shops. The restaurants within walking distance are delicious - namely, Mizzu Asian, The Cromwell Diner, Cafe Fiore just to name a few. “Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the receptionist at the desk. She was extremely friendly. And I thought this is gonna be a wonderful experience. I rode the elevator up to the third floor to my room. I entered the room and my room immediately smelled like smoke. I did pay for a non-smoking room. I noticed missing spackle on the wall, a stain that looked like Kool-Aid on the carpet and the hairdryer was hanging off of the wall. The cord to the cable box was also hanging out of the cable box...
