Oavsett om du kommer att slappna av eller komma ut i naturen är det här huset för dig! Inomhus kommer du njuta av sjön från den ��ppna sociala planlösningen av det stora rummet eller satsa utomhus till det älskade Dollar Point-området. På sommaren är du bara en 5-10 min promenad till stranden och lake front tennisbanor.

Lake Haven ligger utmärkt för en semester hyra. Du går in i det öppna och inbjudande stora rummet med gott om sittplatser runt 60 tums plattskärms-TV. Det leder också till omslaget runt däck med topp utsikt över sjön och är komplett med stor uteplats bord och extra sittplatser. På den övre nivån hittar du också ett välutrustat kök med apparater i rostfritt stål och middag för åtta med två i räknaren.

Ner i hallen hittar du tre mycket välutrustade sovrum. Befälhavaren i slutet av hallen innehåller en king size-säng, platt-TV och eget badrum med en extra stor glasdusch. Nedre våningen i vardagsrummet är ett bra alternativ för barn att umg��s medan de vuxna slappna av på övervåningen och inkluderar också det fjärde sovrummet med en king size-säng.

OM OMRÅDET

Ligger strax öster om Tahoe City på Lake Tahoe vackra norra stranden ligger ett av områdets mest eftertraktade stadsdelar - Dollar Point. Hela samhället ligger vid sjön vid huvudvägen, vilket gör den till en perfekt plats för en lugn och avkopplande semester. Med ett antal bostäder i vår portfölj ligger inom en kort promenad från varandra, är detta den perfekta platsen för ett flerslagsfamilj. Och åh, bekvämligheterna!

På sommaren kan Dollar Point verkligen inte slå. Det är en av North Shores enda samhällen som erbjuder tillgång till en simbassäng och privat sandstrand, båda mindre än en kilometer från alla hem i samhället. För dem som letar efter äventyr, hoppa på cykelvägen som går ut ur samhället och följ Truckee River norrut, eller besök Tahoe City, hem till allt från hemma odlade kaffebar till Lakefront Fine Dining, bara några minuter bort.

På vintern erbjuder Dollar Point central tillgång till nästan alla norra Lake Tahoe främsta skidområden. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar och Homewood är alla bara en 20 minuters bilresa från din Dollar Point hem.

beautiful cabin that is walking distance to the lake. The property manager had excellent communication and would respond to any email or text within an hour.

Loved this home!

Luckily we were able to snag this beauty at the last minute for just a 4 night stay (unfortunately I would have loved to have stayed much longer!) The home has nice furnishings- great bedding with nice linens, thick fluffy towels, and comfortable furniture. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils though we only ate in one night ( BBQ)The deck area is quite large with filtered views of the lake. I would definitely rebook Lake Haven again! Also, dealing with Tahoe Getaway was an easy experience. Just a note- the downstairs has a good sized sitting room, a bathroom with shower as well as a sauna and a separate room with a king sized bed. ( I believe the online description states bunk/ double bed- note that bed configuration is on the main level.

Quiet place to relax

We truly enjoyed stay in this property. Rooms were nice, great living room and kitchen area. Kitchen was excelently equipped. However - Bed quality was poor and bed linens were very, very outdated and uncomfortable. It would take a very little effort to upgrade them and the whole stay would be so much more pleasant. The fact that renters cannot access private beach is another negative of the house. It was impossible to find a space on a public beach, and that made the whole stay less pleasant. those things have affected this review, which is unfortunate because the house and the setting are just beautiful

Snowed in

We all enjoyed our time at this home. We spent more time in it than we had planned since we arrived when the worse snowfall in 50 years hit. The fireplace was wonderful. It kept the living room toasty. We made many of our meals here since driving could be dangerous at times. The kitchen was well equipped. We used saucers to enjoy the snow from the sloping driveway. I called several times for guidance and the property managers helped us promptly even with the amount of snow and power outages in the area. We were only out for a few hours. Both the street and our driveway were plowed at least daily.

We had a wonderful time and loved the amount of space as well as durability of the furniture (none was broken). It could have been a bit cleaner - the ottoman, sliding door handle and BBQ were extremely dirty - and cobwebs all around. As well, a few things were broken upon our arrival: lounge chair (hole), curtain rod in master upstairs was hanging broken from it’s brace and fell off wall completely, missing screen on the downstairs bedroom large window, large standing light in the living room did not work, so left the living room quite dim. If a lesson could be learned about detail, the place would be excellent.

The location was great. Space was more than enough for our family of 5! 3 bathrooms which were nice and enough to sleep at least 10. A few things to improve...the area rugs were all weathered and dirty. The entry hall one had a huge stain on it. These should be updated. As well as updating the dishtowels and oven mitts. It was hard to tell if they were clean because they were so old and dirty looking. I was surprised this hadn't been done as it isn't a large expense. Lastly, there is no AC and at night you are encouraged to shut doors and windows bc of bears. It got hot. They have a lot of fans available and we did use them and they helped a bit, but also some of the fans were so dusty we couldn't use them.

Wonderfull MLK Ski Trip

We had a great time on our MLK weekend near Tahoe City. The Lake Forest house was exactly as described -- roomy, comfy, good design, and great location to the slopes, local spots. The house is a good neighborhood and has some peakaboo views of the lake. We are looking forward to coming back here during summer time and enjoy the house and Dollar Point areas.

Great location. Due to the heat wave, the house never cooled down.

The house was nice, great location. The house had limited supplies including toilet paper and paper towels, which we gladly supplied. Also, it wasn't as clean as expected; a few ashes from grill on back porch and some dirty clothes left in master bedroom. Also, if we stayed again in August, we would insure they had ceiling fans installed as the house was extremely warm (over 80 each night when we went to bed).

Great Rental, Great Location

I love the house and the location. We stayed 7/31-8/6. A few people complained about the internet speed. It's fine (280 Mbps download, 21 Mbps upload...ok, that's a little slow, but workable). We brought up 2 SUPs and stored them in the garage. I went out every morning at 7:00 am when the lake was glass. The Dollar Point HOA charges guests $10/person per day to use the beach (9:00-1:00 or 2:00-6:00). First come, first served. It's free before and after. But, we went to Skylandia Beach. It's pretty much the same distance to either beach and Skylandia is free. The house is great, it got warm in the day (no AC), but we turned on the plentiful fans and cooled the house down easily. The filtered view is nice, but there was definitely one tree I wanted to remove. :-) Must do hikes: Eagle Rock (near Homewood), and the Rubicon (from DL Bliss to Emerald Bay and back). Both were amazing!

Splendid Family Summer Vacation Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 10 days at "Lake Haven" with our entire family: daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. Tahoe is an annual event for us, and over the years we have rented several homes at Dollar Point. This home was by far the best. It is spacious with plenty of room for children and adults alike. The deck is a great space with filtered views of the lake where one can dine outside or relax with a book and a glass of wine. The kitchen is remarkably well appointed with every piece of equipment that one could possibly need. And there is a generous supply of quality pots and pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. The living room is large with tall celings with exterior views to the lake. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. The location within Dollar Point is just about midway between the pool/tennis area and the beach: no more than a 10 min walk to either. One can't go wrong renting this home!

Four spacious rooms made for a comfortable nights sleep and all with fans. The split living space was great for kids to escap and play or watch a movie. The best pro was the cleanliness. The only odd thing was carpet in the sauna (which we didn't use...but it was summer so really didn't need to).

The house was family friendly and was in great condition. The property management staff were helpful and checkin/checkout was smooth. Their mobile app in particular was very useful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious house with a peek a boo view of the lake. Each room was created nicely, making it nice to share with friends. Every room is equal. The property had nice high ceilings so it felt you had a lot of space. The property management are very helpful with any questions.

All the rooms were spacious, the house was clean and cozy and the location was very convenient to the lake, skiing, restaurants and shops. We'd love to come back and enjoy this house again!
