“Staff was great, room/building is a bit outdated but everything was clean. Great location. This place was a great value for the money, and would be great for young families. We used the pool and hot tub but would have liked if it was open a bit later. Only issue was the A/C in the room was very small and did not keep the bedroom cool at all (and it was only ~23C out). And the mattress was a 4/10 for comfort.”

“This is an outstanding motel. The best we have stayed in. Julia and her staff go the extra mile. Unlike many motels, there is nothing faded or needing repair here. And it's got everything you need for a pleasant, comfortable stay. Plus mountain views. Definitely highly recommended.”

“Love having a fridge with a freezer compartment as we had ice-packs we needed to refreeze. Got the Hot Springs tickets from them which saved us the cost of hiring a towel at the Hot Springs. For the price the amenities supplied was better than fancier hotels, shampoo plus conditioner, tea bags etc. I think small operator are so much better in terms of value. Many thanks to Gables Motel.”
