As soon as you step inside this newly renovated beautiful and spacious two bedroom condo, you will be greeted with all the modern amenities you need (including lightning fast WI-FI), nestled amongst beautiful decor that will draw you into the luxurious life you've always wanted. Review about property

I took pictures when we got there and things were not what the pictures on site said to be . The TV is not secure to the wall and the legs under the bed was not screwed into the bed right and the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling .the doors to patio were not closed correctly but we fixed those so it would be safe .

very disappointed

When we first got there, there was dirt on the floor and master bed. We contacted the host and he sent someone over to clean this. A pest control guy came and wanted to know if we wanted the unit sprayed and he asked if the dirt had wings, he wanted to know if they were termites. We did not want the unit sprayed since we have 3 small dogs. We then left and when we came back we noticed the black dirt stuff was back on the floor and the master bed again. We then moved everything to the spare bed because there was some kind of a bug or bug feces issue in the master bed. When we put everything in the spare bedroom, we opened the closet there was mold,you can see it and smell it, this place is a health hazard and should not be rented out. We contacted the host and he said he was going to try and find us somewhere to move to the next day and that he would contact us in the morning. We called and left a message for him the next day and never heard back so we left. I was not going to stay in a place with bug feces (turns out that is termite feces and mold) and put my family and I at risk. We told the host that we would pay for the first night because we did stay there but we would be leaving and we wanted a refund for the other two nights. Needless to say, we have never heard from the host, no refund and no help from VRBO, which I find even more disturbing. I guess VRBO condons this. We rent from VRBO quite a bit and have NEVER had anything like this happen.

Very Run Down Property

The pictures on this listing do not show the absolute disrepair of this property. My original VRBO booking canceled a week before my trip, and this was one of the properties I was offered for the booking guarantee. This property was extremely run down. The light in the kitchen did not work, the sliding doors fell off the track if they were opened, the walls had large, badly repaired cracks, there was significant mildew on the baseboards, the bathroom vanity was broken, the outside chairs on both balcony areas were broken, the walls were grimy, there were only window a/c units, there was no siding on the back of the house, there were electrical wires tacked on the outside in an unsafe way, and the sheets were not clean on the guest bed. They were obviously slept in and had hair on them. The sheets on the main bed had a few holes in them. There was a woman sleeping between the trash cans where the parking is one night. I do not like to write bad reviews and I have never had a bad experience until now. If I had booked this property other than with the booking guarantee, I would not have stayed and would have insisted on getting my money back. I still had to pay quite a bit for this property, but I knew there were very few properties available at the last minute. I reached out to VRBO about the disrepair of the property and sent pictures, but they never responded.

Family fun stay in perfect central location

We had a great stay at the Big Blue Bayou house. Very comfortable beds, cute decor, nice big smart TV’s, and you really can’t beat the location. Very close to everything, right off of the 95. Huge shared gated yard, beautiful garden space. Easy parking, and felt very safe here. Would definitely stay here again in the future without a doubt. Host was very accommodating with anything we needed. Kids loved the bunk beds which was a plus. Private back secluded porch area with seating. Nice dining area and kitchen, newer refrigerator and appliances. Great price
