âWe were passing through and booked Regency Inn the day before arriving. Lakeport was a nice little place by Clearwater Lake. The best thing about the inn was the pool right beside the lake. You have a marvelous view over the lake while swimming in the pool (the lake is sadly not swimmable). The room was typical inn standard and worked well for a family of four.â
âThe rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. âThe rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel seems to have good security measures. The staff is always friendly and I was always greeted by everyone with a smile. This is my second time staying here and I'll definitely return again. One of the nicest hotels to stay at in the area.â
âThis is a great area and the lake is just so laid back and refreshing. Property management puts a lot of effort into creating a welcoming and home away from home vibe. Only complaint is the crappy wifi but I chose this place to unplug anyway, so no star deducted there. Will definitely return again.â
