Private and Cozy Lake Wallenpaupack Retreat

Relax with family and friends at this peaceful retreat nestled on a private 2-acre lot on Lake Wallenpaupack. Spacious outdoor entertaining space, custom firepit and ample seating with seasonal lake views. Open kitchen, living and dining layout with wood burning fireplace and sunroom. Family and remote work friendly with a dedicated workspace in bedroom.

Bring nothing but yourselves and enjoy this fully stocked house. Master suite with sitting area and attached full bath. Two additional bedrooms and a first-floor full bath allow for multiple sleeping options. Family friendly setup includes a bonus loft with indoor games: Board games/cards (adult and kids), Pac Man, foosball, assortment of children’s books and toys. Outdoor activities also provided: cornhole, lawn Jenga, kids outdoor water table and splash pad. Stair gates already installed for kids’ safety.

All bedrooms have closets or ample dresser space for storage. Pack and play and sheets available if needed. All beds have comfortable Casper mattresses – all sheets, comforters, pillows, and towels included for your convenience.

• All dishes/silverware/drinkware and large selection of cooking utensils
• Pots and pans, baking sheets
• 12-cup Coffee maker with reusable filter OR K-cup option
• Dishwasher | Blender | Crockpot | Toaster oven | Tea Kettle
• Highchair and toddler booster seat
• Baby/toddler cups/plates bowls and spoons

Large deck overlooking a custom patio and firepit provides the ultimate outdoor living experience. Deck includes seating for 8, outdoor couch seating and a Weber grill. Oversized patio allows for time around the fire or ample space for outdoor activities.

Enjoy the nature and wildlife on 2+ acres of land to explore. The property backs up to 20 acres of undeveloped land great for hiking and exploring. House is conveniently located to the many trails the Lake Wallenpaupack area has to offer. Short walk/drive to neighborhood swimming dock and community waterfront fire pit.

Large and secure onsite parking provides room to trailer and store small boats during your stay. Multiple nearby options for daily boat launch; boat slip not available.

AC units provided in all bedrooms for summer months and all rooms have ceiling fans. Please be advised when booking in winter months a 4-wheel drive vehicle may be necessary to access this property. No smoking.

This house was the perfect getaway for a long weekend in nature! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We had an issue with the wifi but Kara quickly rectified that for us. Communication was great. We would come back any time and would recommend it to others!

Lake house retreat

Spectacular home on a beautifully maintained property.It’s exactly as it appears online. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Cleanliness was excellent and made the house look so inviting. Only stayed for a long weekend to attend family functions nearby, but would have been comfortable here for longer periods of time. Owner was quick to respond to our questions and gave us some flexibility to adjust to our schedules. Don’t hesitate to book this property!

Perfect & Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay at Ridge Retreat! The house is so incredibly beautiful, well maintained and exceptionally clean. The location is perfect and peaceful and within driving distance to various restaurants and activities. It was a bit rainy during our stay but we did get to enjoy a sunny afternoon on the gorgeous patio. Kara was very responsive and provided a lot of detailed information. We have zero complaints and are definitely planning a return trip. Thank you, Kara and Chris for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Private Beauty

The excitement of our vacation was only made better by this beautiful home. The photographs on the listing give a small taste of what to expect from a stay here. Comfortable, clean and updated with tons of amenities and conveniences. Great for couples or multi generational gatherings. The setting is private and quiet. Besides Lake Wallenpaupuk, the ridge behind the property provides hours of hiking and exploring opportunities. Great communication with owners.

Family Getaway

Our Family really enjoyed our stay here. The property looks even better in person. When we arrived, this home was super clean and spacious; especially the high ceiling in the great room. I especially loved the very small details that were not left out. Such as spices for cooking, various cooking ware, family games, and the dog bowls for our fury babies. The home throughout is very well decorated which gives a warm comfy feel. We would definitely recommend staying at this home for your next family getaway.

Winter Getaway

Our family (my parents and my brother) used to vacation at Lake Wallenpaupack every year. We were hoping to create a new tradition with the next generation of our family, and we will definitely consider this property as a must stay for future visits. Short drive to breweries, wineries, restaurants and the slopes. The views were amazing, the deer were friendly (enough to show up right outside our door). You should go!

Better than expected!

My family and I had an amazing mountain getaway! We went between Christmas and New Years. The house was extremely clean, had very comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. There was wood available to us and we loved building a cozy fire each night. With a beautiful porch, large deck and an outdoor fire pit, the cabin has much to offer in warmer weather as well. I would highly recommend this property!
