"Creekside Cabin" - Modernized 1800s Cabin w/Hot Tub, 5 minutes to I-77

Nestled off I-77 Exit 1, our quaint 1800s cabin promises the perfect blend of convenience and seclusion. In just 20 mins, visit Mount Airy, NC, Andy Griffith's hometown, or explore the historic Galax, VA within a 25-min drive and the New River Trail. You're just 10 mins from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Amidst 3 acres of woodland serenity, enjoy the babbling creek, evening camp fires, relax in our hammock, or have a BBQ. Nearby hiking, dining, wineries, and breweries add to the charm of Creekside.

The space
Craving a secluded hideaway? Welcome to our snug 1800s cabin, lovingly restored and modernized. Embrace tranquility while you soak in the hot tub or roast s'mores over a fire pit, ensconced in oversized chairs. Plus, we've got a Tesla 14-50 outlet ready for use!

The cabin features a lofted queen bed (note: steep staircase access) and a comfy Vaughan Bassett queen sleeper sofa. The single bathroom features a shower, while the kitchen is complete with a mini-range, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, Keurig, and basic cookware. A stackable washer-dryer unit is also available.

Our cabin offers a Roku TV for streaming Netflix, Hulu, or other apps. Limited Starlink WiFi is available but may buffer due to weather and terrain.

The all-season hot tub is on the screened back porch. An inviting front porch, fire pit, chairs, and charcoal grill (supplies not provided) beckon outdoors.

Your stay can be coupled with scenic drives and the charm of Mayberry, just 20 mins away. Explore 12 wineries, 4 breweries, and a distillery within a 10-30 minute radius. Visit the historic Puckett Cabin on the Blueridge Parkway, the Fancy Gap Pottery and Fabric Outlet, or enjoy a German dinner show at Wohlfahrt Haus.

You have access to the entire property and cabin. This is an entire house. It is not a shared space and there are no other houses/ buildings on the 3 acre property.

Looking for peace of mind while planning your getaway? We suggest acquiring travel insurance for any unforeseen changes or cancellation, as we cannot offer refunds or date changes within 14 days of your reservation.

Our cabin comes complete with a charcoal grill for that smoky BBQ goodness (please bring your own charcoal and supplies). Enjoy a bug-free lounging experience in our screened-in back porch, and unleash your competitive side with our diverse array of board games!

The cabin is stocked with fresh linens, towels, dish towels, and comforters for your comfort. To welcome you, we provide a starter set of hand soap, toilet paper, and a roll of paper towels. Please note, laundry detergent and toiletries like shampoo and body wash aren't provided.

Keen on a warm cuppa? We have a Keurig, with complimentary k-cups. Essential cooking supplies like salt, pepper, aluminum foil, parchment paper, and cooking oil are also at your disposal. Come, make our cabin your home away from home!
