“A change of plans took me to Hexham and the Beaumont hotel for what was to be a very pleasant experience. Arrived two hours early and was only looking to store my bagage as I fully expected to be asked to wait until regular check-in was open. Instead the hotel went the extra mile and had my room ready in a bit more than half an hour. And the Abbey and the pleasant park just across the road it was very easy to spend those 30 minutes in relaxing way. I got a spacious twin room on the 1st floor...

“Perfekt läge efter motorvägen, lätt att hitta! Bra gym. Rent rum och bra frukost. Spa avdelningen var ett kaos av barn så det hade varit bättre att kalla det hotell med pool för barnfamiljer än hotell med spa som för oss är ett lugnt och avslappnande ställe.”

“The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. “A small but well appointed twin room. Quiet and could not hear other people, so this was good. Tasty pub grub and a decent choice for breakfast. Just what we needed”
