Detta helt återställda hem i Lancaster County Amish-land är den perfekta reträtten från livets oro. Ligger på en tunnland längs landsvägar omgiven av jordbruksmark kan du njuta av bakre verandan eller uteplatsen med vedeldande eldstad. Vår stuga erbjuder moderna bekvämligheter med inslag av vintagestil, som fantastiska, ursprungliga trägolv, synliga balkar och restaurerad öppen spis. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this historical home. It provided everything we needed for a comfortable 5 day stay. Located in the countryside surrounded by cornfields it was quiet and peaceful but just a short ride away from quaint towns, shopping and amenities. Daily we watched Amish buggies clipclop by as we experienced the beauty of this part of the country. The home was spotless, the beds comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Outstanding in every way!!! This trip crossed off my wife's bucket list item. What a dream lication inserted straight into the middle of the Amish culture we love and admire so much. Tranquility is the best aspect of this charming property. Every day we saw Amish children scootering to school and horse drawn wagons and buggies as we drank coffee on the back porch or by the firepit. Sunrises and sunsets were amazingly beautiful. We viewed hot air balloons taking off from Lancaster every day as well No reason to leave the home but so much to do in the area you will want to venture out. Quiet, sturdy home for its age. Peaceful. No noises. Perfect!!! John and Deb are the GOATs of VRBO hosts. A must stay!!! We will be back.

The cottage was beautiful and welcoming from the first step inside! Delicious homemade cookies to greet us. Cozy bedrooms, kitchen stocked with essentials, great fire pit with seating for all 5 of us comfortably and the view and souroundings that will take your breath away! Close to attractions but just far enough away from the noise! Beautiful home that has been taken care and hosts were quick with responses. Would definitely stay again in the near future!

Well restored and maintained. The original wood was outstanding. Cookies were a nice touch. It was an idyllic spot within easy drive of every place we wanted to go. Ran into a few cobwebs in the bathroom and had an issue with yellow jackets, but that is just nature! Everything we needed was there. Too much light in the middle bedroom, especiallt the light under the top step.

This is a sweet cottage away from the hustle and bustle. It is situated on a corner and affords a beautiful view of farmland and sunrises/sunsets. The bedrooms and bathroom are all located upstairs. We loved the beams and antique furniture. There’s a griddle in the kitchen that makes cooking breakfast easy. We appreciated the air conditioning.

Short vacation

This is a beautiful property. It was clean and so charming. We loved our stay here. We loved the old farmhouse feel of the property and all the antique furnishings. The hosts were thoughtful and quick to respond to questions. We usually take this trip annually and hope to stay here again.

Loved It!

This was our 3rd stay in this lovely home. The location could not be nicer. It is so quiet & peaceful. We enjoyed watching the Amish farmer next door plant tobacco and the ongoing horse & buggy traffic. The house is one of the best stocked houses we have ever stayed in. John & Deb have thought of everything to make it feel just like home, right down to the fresh baked cookies waiting on the kitchen table. There is not a thing I would change about this house. Thank you John & Deb! We can't wait to stay with you again! :)
