âDet var med sorg jag lĂ€mnade detta hotell efter sĂ„ kort vistelse. Ett i det nĂ€rmaste perfekt hotell med vacker arkitektur och inredning, trevlig och hjĂ€lpsam personal (ordnade t.ex. en frukostpĂ„se Ă„t mig nĂ€r jag behövde lĂ€mna hotellet tidigt), samt fullt med bekvĂ€mligheter. Hoppas kunna komma tillbaka hit nĂ„gon gĂ„ng!â
âThe staff went above and beyond when we were running late to ensure we were able to get into our room. They even deep cleaned my room before arrival to assist with my potential allergies. It really made our stay wonderful. I can most definitely recommend!
Only note to be aware is the bedrooms are upstairs and you need to be able to carry your bags up to them. â
âLove everything about The Fleece inn, lovely friendly staff, beautiful accommodation, great food. Didnât like anything. Thatâs why I have stayed there 5 times now. The fact they won country pub of the year in the whole of Britain says it all!â
âNicely appointed room with comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom (and power shower) with tea & coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a really powerful fan (needed in this warm weather). Slept well even though there was a pub nearby as it felt pretty quiet when the windows were closed. Smart TV was great as I could log intomall my own chanels. Only minor point was there was nowhere to hang up clothes - I think there was a nook for it, so maybe the rail was just missing. No problem...
âA private home from the 16th century with a very welcoming host and hostess. Marketed as "luxury B&B", and that's an apt description. The drawback is that it's located between villages, so any dinner requires a drive (and therefore no beer or wine). Personally, I'd had a big lunch and a tiring drive through the Yorkshire Dales, so I skipped dinner.â
âThe Borough Hotel is a best choice to stay in Lancaster, whether on business or visiting the historic city of Lancaster out of interest. Centrally situated, the Georgian Hotel has a very good restaurant, although the breakfast included offer is not available for third party bookings, such as through Expedia. Still, the very good breakfasts on offer in the Restaurant are not very expensive. The staff are lovely and most helpful. Lancaster is a student city and the young people enhance the vibrant...
âOnly stopped for one night but it was exactly what we were expecting. Pleasant helpful staff who were easy to talk to and helpful. Just like the old days. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank youâ
âA really lovely place to stay. Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully presented throughout and very comfortable and clean rooms.
I had a very large walk in shower which was perfect and I genuinely couldn't fault anything from the moment I walked in, to walking out.
Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, food was cooked to perfection.
