We loved our Backwoods getaway. It is very private and remote which is exactly what we were looking for. The house has everything you need to enjoy a quiet getaway. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed every minute. Nice property in secluded wooded area around lakes. Close to the MI boarder. Restaurants nearby. Nice and plenty of room for our family.

Peaceful and secluded

We enjoyed our week in the north woods. Home is well appointed, away from civilization. Internet was spotty at times but we were there for outdoor activities so no worries. We hope to return for fall colors, the woods are beautiful!

Very secluded. Didn’t realize that you have to take trails to get to the property. Lost cell service and got lost. We were driving with a SUV, trailer and UTV. Trails were terrible for driving with SUV and trailer. Property manager saved our vacation and gave us great directions. No central air. Had a great time once we found the property

Disappointed for the Price

Some roads on lake property inaccessible, creating a delay of almost an hour delay in route. The house smelled of sewage for the first 2 days. A plumber arrived with no notice to us. Tracked dirt, no mop for guest use. No direct owner to reach out to. Disappointing

Nice if you want seclusion

This cabin is very nice and looks like it is fairly new construction. Be aware that although it says it is secluded, it is very secluded. Not a problem other than it takes a long time to get their on the back roads. You won't be making many trips to town. The location is very nice if you are ok with that. Might have problems with the cleaners having too many places to clean in the area and not enough people. The cabin had not been cleaned when we checked in (it was after check in). dirty sheets still in laundry area and no sheets on bed. They. came at 5PM. Other than that it is a nice stay, nice firepit and nice woodburning stove inside. Very spacious, but be careful going down the steps inside, there is a loose tile on the steps that is a potential disaster for someone, I notified Vacasa that it is a problem.
