Cozy Rustic Apt in 18th c Berkshire Farmhouse

This cozy rustic studio is located at the base of Mount Greylock and a 6 minute drive from Jiminy Peak ski resort. Built in the 1700’s, this centuries old farmhouse has since been converted into four separate cute suites. Newly updated kitchen, bathroom and furniture. Enjoy exploring the sprawling 19 acre property you will be staying on which includes seasonal flower fields, thousands of berry bushes, fruit trees, creek, and walking trails full of wildlife.

The place itself was very cute and had a lovely little coffee shop directly next-door, which was a great perk. Unfortunately it just wasn’t a very comfortable night sleep. The heat was very loud, the mattress itself was not very comfy and we couldn’t figure out how to shut the bathroom light off. That being said, the host was very nice and got back to me as quickly as they could when I had questions and it is very conveniently located next to Jiminy Peak, which was a large part of our choosing to book this particular location.

Quaint Little Room!

The room itself was well kept, clean, and had everything we needed!Located right near a coffee house / country store, down the road from Jiminy Peak, and a short drive to some great hiking spots- this is all you need for a weekend getaway!

Great Little Place for a quick getaway

Very cozy and close to Jiminy Peak. However sheets could use an update. Almost nothing for kitchen supplies. Baking pans, measuring cup, cooking spray, pot holders, a few spices would have been helpful. First place I rent that doesn't have kitchen staples so a bit disappointed because I would have brought more from home.

Great little apartment in the Berkshires

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) stayed here for a night. Had a bit of a difficult time finding the place, but a quick call to the owner and we found it within minutes. It's a cute place, has a very "ski lodge" feel to it. Perfect size for 2 adults, adequate for a family with small kids (I would not want to sleep 2 adults on the futon). We would stay here again.

Cool place!

My daughter and I were only there for one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer and check out the farm! We had a great nights, sleep, and a shower before getting back on the road the next morning. Communication was excellent, and we love staying in a place that has so much history. One lovely night!

My husband and I only stayed over one night because we had an event to attend the next day and it was over a 2hour drive from our house. We were very happy with our stay, the place was exactly as advertised, it was warm,friendly and cozy. We would have liked to stay another night if it was possible. The owner was very quick to respond to me when I had questions. We would stay here again if ever in the area again.

Rustic

It was listed as rustic and was. My only issues were no overhead lights and the kitchen was dark. The stairs had short steps making a little harder to navigate. A motion detector light outside would be nice. I hope that won’t scare anyone away, I would stay there again.
