âThe property is in a great location. Itâs clean, safe and quiet and has air conditioning. It is located in old town and just steps from the Central Square. The owners were great to work with. We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didnât have to move. âThis is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh.
Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience.
We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they werenât wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel LâAbbaye!â
