Accommodation was basic but clean. Older build than some others in the area. Thought the layout of the apartment was a fire hazard due to only exit from bedrooms and bathroom is via an outside courtyard - 2 external doors to be unlocked to exit the courtyard into the living room/kichen area - each with seperate keys not clearly marked Courtyard had 8ft high wall and no door/gate. Also the bathroom needs to be updated.

Disappointing. Didn't get the room we paid for.
We paid extra for a 'plus' room which we were told by phone would put us in the block nearest the seafront. However, on check in we were placed in an entirely different and disconnected block several streets away which was as far back as their much cheaper Morromar sister hotel. The air conditioning, which was the main reason we paid extra, kept turning itself off. In the middle of a heatwave this made sleeping very uncomfortable. The hard beds only added to that. We were there for work so WiFi was important. It fluctuated a lot, from 8Mbps right down to 0.5Mbps. There is no excuse in 2023 for poor hotel WiFi. The chap who guided us to the room late at night didn't offer to help us with our bags. I believe he was part if the maintenance team. The same team that were in a little office/storeroom from which came the very pungent smell of something more than tobacco. Plus points; the cleaners do a good job, even around the lazy maintenance. And it takes around 5 minutes to walk to the promenade and 15 to get to Playa Pocillo where there are many restaurants and bars. 45 minutes walk will get you to PDC. The area itsef is good but we wouldn't stay at this property again

We stayed in Gaviotas VIII for one week. The properly was basic, but clean. We were given fresh towels every other day and the bedding was changed. The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this property.

Winter escape
Been here many times before it’s a cosy friendly place quite but close to bars and restaurants the bathrooms are looking a bit dated and as the waters heated by a small external boiler you need to be quick redline a shower but over all very present stay

The apartment plus property was really-well assembled. It wasn't clear from the Expedia description that Las Gaviotas has three clusters. Also, only seven apartments face the sea/beach, the images on Expedia are deceiving. Overall, I would give it 4 out of 5 because it was hard to get good amount of natural light from terrace glazing and ventilation from toilet opening. However, the apartment property had enough privacy which was a bonus.

Property is in an excellent position, very nice apartments but 2 of the pools were closed for maintenance and the work being carried out on the seafront spoilt our trip. We should have been advised of this before arrival.

Wir waren nun zum 2. mal in dieser Anlage. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich, jedoch war im Gegensatz zum letzten Jahr das Appartement in einem sehr renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Schade eigentlich für eine ansonsten tolle Anlage in super Lage.

Los bungalows, tipo apartamento, son cómodos y acogedores. Las numerosas piscinas permiten cambiar de ambiente si no te gusta alguna de ellas. No me gustó que el bufet de la comida fuera algo corto en diversidad de platos. Tampoco que ya por la noche algunos huéspedes se reservaran las hamacas con sus toallas para el día siguiente, con lo cual no quedara sitio suficiente. El personal siempre amable y muy servicial, tanto el de recepción como el de los restaurantes y bares

L'endroit est très calme et jolie près de la plage et autre, mais le buffet nest pas a la hauteur de Lanzarote car proposée des produits surgelés ou en conserves alors qu'on est dans une île, pas de poissons ou de produits de la mer est inacceptable pour le prix qu'on a payer en demi-pension. En plus le ménage nest pas fait tout les jours alors qu'il sont censé le faire 5 fois par semaines les lit pour 3 étoiles est juste une catastrophe.

Los apartamentos están siendo renovados, a nosotros nos tocó un apartamento viejo y algo alejado del bloque central. Aun así, no me quejo porque la relación calidad-precio fue la correcta. Fuimos a media pensión y la comida tanto en el desayuno como en la cena fue más que aceptable. Los camareros y el personal de recepción encantadores y muy amables. Solamente una pega y es que si te alojan en un apartamento al lado de uno que está siendo reformado hay que tener en cuenta el ruido, fui de vacaciones a desconectar y a relajarme y a las 8 de la mañana los obreros estaban haciendo ruido con lo cual te despertaban, creo que es algo a tener en cuenta .

Great location. Had to PAY for internet, even then, that only allowed two devices! My wife and I each have a tablet but I also have an iPod for internet radio which I need to help me sleep.

the only problem is we had a late flight home and we wanted the apartment up until 4pm and they wanted to charge us for an extra night the full asking price ithink if you have a late flight home you should be able to have the room until at least 4pm.

Cockroaches
The first room was a so called superior one but it had single glazing and was right under the flight path and also a bit grubby so they moved me to block 8 and the room had an infestation of cockroaches it was really awful!! They were jumping on me!!!! The maintenance guy who en brutally came was shocked ! so I had to move again! It was exhausting the next room had a broken phone so I couldn’t get hold of reception and no hairdryer but was much nicer ! Block 8 is a long way from reception and restaurant . I still have nightmares about all those cockroaches and the hotel never even apologised or gave me anything in way of a sorry they weren’t bothered!!

We have all our apartments treated yearly to minimize the presence of insects and bugs but as our complex is surrounded by gardens, it is difficult to maintain the apartments 100% free without using noxious products that can harm our guests. I believe your phone and hairdryer was fixed as soon as the reception was notified. I apologize if you feel the treatment received was not correct. Disappointed in efficiency/courtesy of receptionist during our stay. No running water during nights/early morning. No working landline phone in bungalow which was reported but undealt with. Cleaner was very helpful and efficient. Very clean bungalow. Internet charge excessive. Safe charge excessive.

Long weekend stay
We had a lovely stay here. It's a quick journey from the Airport, 5-10 minutes by taxi or bus. The apartments are lovely and clean, a nice clean pool, a very quiet area. The breakfast buffet is of a good quality. There is the noise of the planes as the airport is close, but that's a blessing and a curse if you're after a short stay, being close to the airport reduces those travel times considerably. The windows and doors on the apartment are of a good quality so you won't hear the planes on the inside of the apartment, in fact we slept incredibly well. On the outside, you get used to the planes and it becomes a background noise you get used to, it was at no point offensive .. and I am someone prone to noise irritation. On the downside, the local area is very .. British. Lots of restaurants aimed at tourists, lots and lots of British everything .. which perhaps isn't the worst thing in the world when I'm British myself, but if you're looking for more of a Spanish experience, to indulge in Spanish culture and cuisine, then this perhaps is not the best place for you, and be prepared for smoking, smoking and more smoking. But the bus stop is nearby, and if you're brave enough to hop on and travel to pastures further afield, this really would be a great base for you. Public transport and taxis are cheap. If you're happy to stay by the pool, or on the patio of your apartment, and enjoy the sun, then I'd recommend highly.

Området var perfekt for rullestolbrukere med nærhet til strand , shoppingsentre m.m.En lang hellelegging strandpromenade tilrettelagt for gående, sykkeltraseer, bilfritt.

Les salles de bain neuves, la vaisselle également. Nous avons apprécié le fait qu'il y ai une sallle de bain par chambre. Par contre nous étions 2 pour un logement pour 5 et il est sur que nous aurions été très juste en eau chaude à 5. Nous avons demandé plusieurs fois des interventions car la plaque de fonction de fonctionnait plus ou pas d'eaux chaudes du tout mais le service a été très rapide. La piscine est très propre et tout est très joli et calme.
