“Close to the action without being in it. Quiet, peaceful beaches. Grocery store, markets, pharmacy, bus etc all within very short walk. The hotel itself is super clean and well maintained. It has everything you need for your comfort & the owner/host is incredibly kind and helpful. Note: While our room did have an ocean view, it is not ocean front (1 block away) ”

“Balsa Surf Camp is like staying with family! It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the location is nice and quiet within a very easy walk to town. For a surfing adventure, everything is at your fingertips and the team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily yoga, thank you to the wonderful instructor Darcy Lynch. I will visit Montanita again, and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than Balsa. ”

“Great stay at Dharma Beach hotel. Hotel was right on the very clean beach, with nice walks along the beach to the cliffs and south to other towns, lots of water activity options there and a short walk to the many restaurants and bars in town ”
