The room was nice, clean and good location on the property. We like to prepare breakfast instead of going out. Unfortunately, the cooking pans were sparse. Also the ice maker in the freezer produced very little ice. Other than that, it was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay.

Great place for families

Great place to stay for families. Room was very spacious and clean. We loved having a view of the Sphere from our room. I appreciated having a smoke free hotel to come back to after a busy day on the strip.

Family Vegas/Grand Canyon Spring Break Vacation

We loved this resort! The pools were nice! The unit was perfect for our family stay! The free shuttle to the strip was nice. It is not a far walk if you wanted to walk- we did several times. This was the perfect place for us to stay!

Vegas Spring Break 2025

The Wyndham Grand Desert resort is excellent! It exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Resort was clean, spacious and had a lot of amenities. Will definitely stay at The Grand Desert again!

Good value for off strip location

This is a good hotel for the price we paid, off strip but with an easy to use shuttle to the strip. My only complaint is the amount of people that actually fit in the room we had was not as advertised. I originally booked for 7 adults and thank goodness we didn't actually bring that many! We had 5 and that was just right. One bedroom had a large bed for two to share. The other bedroom had two small beds, only big enough for one adult each. It could be sharing for children, small ones. And then there was the pullout couch in the main area.

Great place to stay off the busy strip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The communications before arrival around what to expect upon check-in were very clear and accurate. This is a time share property so they do attempt to sign you up for a tour. I had to decline a few times bit but it is not a requirement for your stay (though they were offering gifts for attending). The resort has everything you need including an onsite cafe and multiple pools. The unit was clean and in good repair though the bathroom and kitchen were a tad dated. Despite that we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the master bath and the free coffee supplies which were restocked for free upon request similar to a hotel. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable. I would stay here in the future and think this is a great property for families or couples (there is an adult only pool in addition to a family pool). It is very close to the strip so you could walk if you wanted or take the shuttle (though note it stops running at 9pm).

HIDDEN GEM FOR FAMILIES

Our family has traveled all over the world, but this was our first time visiting Las Vegas with our three teenagers. This facility was one of the best parts of our week-long vacation. When we checked in, we were upgraded to the presidential suite. It was spacious, clean and quiet. The kitchen had all the needed appliances and cookware. They also supplied body wash, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, salt and pepper. We ordered groceries from Walmart and had them delivered to the hotel. The hotel also offers DAILY shuttles to Walmart ($5/person) for shopping. They also have a free shuttle to the Horseshoe Casino that leaves every hour. We didn't need to rent a car for most of the week. The staff were courteous and helpful. There were usually complimentary Bloody Marys or Screwdrivers in the morning. We didn't have to attend a timeshare presentation. No casino fees or surprise incidentals were attached and it was nice to relax away from the smoke and the noise of Las Vegas Blvd. We easily walked to the Blvd. daily and passed interesting shops (Hard Rock Cafe, Coca-Cola store, Netflix/Stranger Things) so my teens didn't mind walking. The people staying here appeared classy and the facility felt safe after dark. Keys were required to access each floor of the elevator. The only downside-Wifi connections were limited to four devices per room and no maid service. Overall, this was an amazing value for the price. Relaxation guaranteed!!!

Great place

The property was clean, family friendly and located close to the strip. The check in process was supposedly quick however we were still kinda forced to listen to a sales pitch prior to grabbing our room keys. Other than that, it was a great place to stay at.

Perfect location and fantastic condos

My 4 th or 5 th time staying here. 1st time staying without a friend who owns a timeshare here. A wonderful property overall with a great location and just about anything/everything you could need. Beds very comfortable. Furniture was suitable for our group of four. It would be nice to have a dishcloth, but we made do with a clean washcloth. The provided scrubbie wasn’t really working to wipe off a table or counter. We did go buy toilet paper as the papery one ply provided wasn’t very good. Provided besides toilet paper were: Paper towels, liquid dish soap, dishwasher detergent pellets, laundry soap, bar soap and 3 trash bags. The bar soap was decent quality. Recycling and trash are on each floor and you haul it yourself. The condo could use some pot holders as supplied pots were metal- including the handles, so had to use a towel for a pot holder. If you can, ask to stay in building 1 or 3. We were assigned building 2 which is the main check in building. I found it to be much noisier and parking more difficult than the other two buildings. But if you want to be near the in house store and restaurant, building two is for you. I really liked that the main suite had 2 separate sinks besides a toilet by itself with a door, separate shower and whirlpool tub. (Had only stayed in the “guest “ bedroom before with a friend). A full sized ironing board and iron as well as carpet sweeper are provided as well. Plenty of clothes hangars and a safe are available.
