“we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. “Lovely old hotel full of character very close to the Hoe and within walking distance to the Barbican. Dogs welcome throughout the hotel although you have to take breakfast in the bar if accompanied by your dog. My dog was made very welcome and even had his own sausage for breakfast. Have stayed here before and plan to do so in the future. Thank you to the very friendly staff. ”
