“We came by car to Grindelwald to see Eiger and take the cable car to Eigergletscher. For this purpose, the lodge was excellent! We saw the big north face of Eiger through our window, and sitting on the roof of the adjacent Grill Bar and having a beer while watching the mountains was just amazing. The lodge is basic but in great shape. Checkin and parking was very convenient and breakfast was good. ”

“The rooms are nice and cozy and clean however the bath robes could have been more cleaner as I found other people’s hair on them. That said everything else was great. The rooms were nice and cozy although I really think they should’ve put water for guests in a five star resort there really should’ve been bottled water there is nothing. “Great hotel. Nearby parking. Near great skiing areas, usch as Gstaad and Mürren. Friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.”

“Overall nice experience but the spa was disappointing and seemed very old and out of touch, like an old small public swimming pool. Would be nice to for example have a nice warm relaxing and quiet room and nicer changing area and hot pool was closed. Breakfast was very basic but ok. A suggestion: as its seems like a new hotel, the sitting areas (including the brasserie) could be have nicer lighting like candles on the tables instead of sterile lighting it currently has. But overall was fine.”

“Helt fantisltisk personal, så hjälpsamma med allt från utflykter till att få den mat som vi önskade. Reste med två barn på 10 & 11 år som inte åt alla mat på hotellet, men personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma med att sätta ihop bra barnmenyer åt dem. Väldigt trevliga omgivningar. Det ända lilla minuset var att när vi bokade så uppmärksammade vi inte att det inte gick att köra bil till Wengen. Nu löste det sig jättebra, för man parkerar bilen i Lauterbrunnen och tar bergståget till Wengen, en...
