“Posada del Mar is a cosy and simple hotel near the main street. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel had good WiFi in the room. The breakfast can be bought at the reception but is served at another restaurant, 3 min walk from the hotel. Nice also with a balcony. A bit old interior but nothing to complain about. We stayed for one night. ”

“This hostel is on the edge of town. Very clean , large rooms. Shared small fridge in hallway. TV only in Latin American. No where to dry wet bathing suits /wetsuits , I asked and was told there's no real facilities. It's a good breakfast and there's mineral water free near reception. Although No free tea/coffee facilities. Overall ok .”

“We loved everything about Lava House. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The owners were incredibly welcoming and great hosts. The breakfasts were also wonderful. Location was excellent for doing all the activities the island has to offer and the hotel can help arrange and make recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone! ”

“Amazing location overlooking the bay. We saw sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions and lots of fish just sitting at the bar sipping cocktails. Breakfast is at the sister hotel across the road. The food served is from 2pm-10pm only (and also comes from across the street) and is cash only but very delicious (we had the meat and fish skewers). Only stayed one night before our cruise but would definitely stay there again if we were to return (and for longer than one night only).”

Fantastic stay in Puerto Ayora

"Very convenient stay with walking distance to "everything". Great hospitality & kind staff! We especially enjoyed the pool area with the jacuzzi to relax after our day trips. Highly recommended!"
