Bunkhouse Lodge är en lyxig tillflyktsort för både par och familjer. Med sin eklektiska blandning av allt "cowboy", är denna lodge som inget annat boende i Medicine Park! Från den stora omsluta verandan kan du se Mt. Scott stiger nästan 2500 m från präriegolvet. Resan till toppen av denna bit av granit är en av de bästa natursköna utsikterna i hela Oklahoma.

Bakom Mt. Scott, du hittar USA: s första djurliv med namnet Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. Cyklar, kajaker, motorcyklar och vandring väntar på din upptäckt på sextiofyra tusen tunnland. Du är säker på att bli imponerad av den natursköna utsikten och historiska platser. Det finns stenformationer större än en liten stad på denna plats. Du kan börja dagen med en flugestång och en largemouth bas, vandra till en naturlig bro vid middagstid och avsluta dagen med en biff på restaurangen Old Plantation i Medicine Park. Om du gillar vattensporter har vi den berömda, granitbotten, blåvattensjön Lawtonka, precis vid foten av bergen. Du måste köra åtta timmar västerut för att se något liknande.

Bunkhouse låg på en namngiven väg, men inte längre. Det är nu på 'Bunkhouse Road' med ett officiellt Comanche County-skylt som verifiering. Strax bakom oss finns tre blåögda Gypsy Vanner-hästar som gör dem till honom på två intilliggande betesmarker på Windsong Ranch och direkt bakom dem finns en flock alpakka.

Eklektisk skulle beskriva detta boende men det återspeglar mångfasetter i Sydvästra Oklahoma året runt. Vi hoppas att du kommer att njuta av det lika mycket som vi gör!

The house was clean, very well equipped, and plenty of space to be comfortable and relax. The views of the skyline were amazing. The kids enjoyed the fire pit and the host was very accommodating with any request we had. We were down for a hunting trip and it was in the middle of everything that we wanted to do. we're already talking about next year would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay while we went hiking in the nearby Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. Great layout and size for 2 families with 4 teens. The yard was so nice and well kept. Great communication with the host. We would recommend.

Excellent place to stay for me and my friends! The land is huge and beautiful, nice and quiet with amazing views of the stars at night. Plenty of seating, couches, patio chairs, etc. Not far to drive to some great scenic hiking spots in the area.

Great Thanksgiving stay

Charming Home Near Medicine Park

Really enjoyed our stay at The Bunkhouse! We were in town for our son’s graduation from Basic Training. The house was great for Family Day when we were able to bring him back with us for Family Day. Comfortable spaces inside and out. It was nice to be out in a country setting sitting out on the wrap around porch with nice views. Only about 10 minutes from Fort Sill. All worked out great! We’d stay there again!

Family visit

We were three generations in the area visiting family. The Bunkhouse was right in the middle and where we wanted to be. LOVED the location. Quiet, except when artillery practice was happening…not long at all. Views were amazing and yellow flowers in bloom. My 15 year old was ready to move in! Brennan responded quickly to any communications. Overall, we would stay again!

Beautiful, peaceful property!

The Bunkhouse was easy to find, and everything was clean, well stocked and easy to use. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch with our coffee in the morning and in the evening watching the kids chasing fireflies. There is lots of space indoors, tv had everything that we looked for. The management was really quick answering all of my questions. The only negative was that our stay was so short. Our adult children have texted us to say they wish they were still there, and the grandkids (9-11) had a ball. The beds were comfy, air conditioner ran very well, and the WiFi never caused a problem. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Great place

We love the bunkhouse! Our group had another great visit there. The only thing we have trouble with at this house is comfortable seating. We did enjoy the new recliner but wish the chairs around the table were more comfortable. We spend a lot of time around the table playing games and visiting. They also wanted me to let the owner know the couch has seen better days. But we absolutely LOVE the porch and Yard. The view is incredible! Thanks for another great time!

"Bunkhouse" Vacay Memories

Our little family loved "The Bunkhouse." It was in a beautiful location outside of Medicine Park. With beautiful mountain views of the Wichita mountains we had quick access to all of the adventures of Medicine Park. The cabin was nice and clean decorated in a western bunkhouse decor. We enjoyed the wildlife refuge, the aquarium, downtown Medicine Park and the kids loved swimming in Lake Lawtonka. We also enjoyed the beautiful wrap around porch late in the evenings. Great place to stay for awesome family time and we will definitely b back. Thank you so much for sharing "The Bunkhouse" with our family. Loved every minute of our short weekend visit.
