“Lovely owners. A little distance from the ski lift but regular bus or short walk was fine. Very comfortable and good restaurant. Recommended. ”

“Short end of season skiing break. Accomodation ideally located for the slopes as well as the main town / restaurants. Main reception adequate however only open at certain times of the day. Has pool table but lacks bar and could be a better social area. Pool area / gym good (closes at 8pm though) but no idea how busy this gets peak season. Generally had that end of season feel about it. Accomodation clean and relatively spacious but will never understand how the French place the one toilet...

“Really clean and presentable. Modern apartment with nice kitchen, living area and bedrooms… balcony was a nice touch. Lots of paid parking available underneath complex. Early check in wasn’t an issue. Pool and hot tub were abit on the colder side for my liking. Nice sauna and steam room. Gym also available. Spacious ski locker available with the room. ”

“tout était parfait sauf le parking souterrain. j'avais un emplacement réservé (70 €) et j'ai du batailler toute la semaine car mon emplacement était toujours pris...aucune réaction de la réception...une honte !!!!”

“Just returned from a family snowboarding half term holiday. The hotel is in a great location for both the shops and the ski lifts. The spa is very clean and has a great lay out. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Reception is lovely with great staff who all speak fantastic English. Room had a large balcony too. Towels, soaps and bed linen is all supplied. (you do have to rent robes). Only changes I would have made are- Fold out sofa beds are not very comfy. I would have liked more /...

“La Boule de Neige is a friendly and welcoming 2 star hotel located just a few metres from the fantastic new gondola in Vercland. The hotel provided everything that we needed for our short skiing trip - free on-site parking, a ski room, comfortable beds, hearty breakfast. All this just a short walk from the gondola station.”

“Well, you get what you pay for... And I didn't pay a lot why I guess my expectations shouldn't be too high. But some disappointments still including terrible Wifi which I think today in 2020 just have to work flawlessly. And since I were partly going to work during my stay this was a pain. The room also had a bad smell - probably from mold and years of indoor smoking. Very small room, extremely small (almost unusable) kitchen and almost nowhere to unpack. But very cheap :-).”

“Brilliantly located hotel with easy access to the lifts and also the forum area of Flaine, lots of local bars and restaurants to enjoy too, The Hotel is clean and spacious a with a large equipment room with boot dryer. The restaurant offers a good selection and changes daily, We very much enjoyed our stay truly a 5* 3*hotel! ”
