Vert Ocean - Two Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 5

This holiday rental is a "bas de villa" with a private entrance (the owner lives above) located in the town of Le Marin, halfway between the Caribbean coast and the Atlantic coast of the island. It can accommodate up to 5 people and has a triple bedroom (a bed of 140 and a bed of 90) and a master suite (with a bed of 140) both air-conditioned with their adjoining bathrooms.
Its private parking allows to park easily 2 vehicles. The covered terrace equipped with a sofa and a table that can accommodate 6 people, will allow you to spend convivial moments in complete privacy. Also you will be able to enjoy moments of relaxation in the plunge pool of 2x2m located on the terrace and benefit from an unobstructed view on the surrounding countryside and the sea. The center of Le Marin is located at about ten minutes by car from the villa.

You will find shops and many restaurants (Zanzibar, Ti Toques, l'Annexe...) and bars (KokoaRum...) near the marina. At the marina, you can also go on excursions (diving, day trip to discover Saint Lucia, excursion in a glass-bottomed boat), rent a BBQ boat to have a barbecue in the open sea, rent a car or electric bikes with WATT UP.
The geolocation of this accommodation will also allow you to easily reach the south of the island between the Atlantic coast and the Caribbean coast. You will be able to easily go to the beaches of the extreme south like the Salines or the Pointe Marin lined with restaurants, or to the kitesurfing spot of the Pointe Faula in Vauclin.

In terms of hiking, you will have the choice between the beaten paths of the "ronde des Caps" (33 kms) or the ascent of the mountain of Vauclin (8 kms) from where you will be able to admire magnificent landscapes.

Destination-specific information
Martinique is a tropical island with a unique charm. As on many islands, occasional water or electricity outages may occur and are beyond our control and are not related to the accommodation. Likewise, the local climate may result in the presence of insects, including mosquitoes. These elements are part of the local characteristics and should be taken into consideration when making your reservation.

Sargassum is a natural phenomenon, and its arrival along the coastlines of Caribbean islands is random and unpredictable. There may be no sargassum at the time of booking, while the coastline may be affected during your stay, or vice versa. Its presence may temporarily affect access to the beach, make swimming less enjoyable, and cause characteristic odors, particularly when large quantities of seaweed accumulate along the shore. Unfortunately, we have no way of predicting or controlling this phenomenon. We therefore encourage guests to keep this possibility in mind, particularly when choosing accommodation located close to the coastline or directly on the seafront, as the property may occasionally be affected by the presence of sargassum.
When leaving the airport, get in touch with the owner to let him know that you are leaving the airport.
At the exit of the airport, take the direction of SAINTE-ANNE / LE MARIN and continue straight ahead.

After about 25 kilometers, you arrive in Sainte-Luce.

Continue straight on towards Le Marin. Drive through Le Marin following the direction towards "Centre Ville", then at the exit of Le Marin, take the direction of Le Vauclin.

Drive for about 3 kilometers, until you reach an intersection. The main road turns to the right, and a road goes to the left. Take this road on the left.

100 meters further, turn left, direction "Morne Sulpice" (you will see an old mill on your right).
The rental Vert Océan will be 250 meters further on the right.

The coast may look impressive, but a regular car can easily get there.
