Simply excellent - one of the best holiday properties we have ever stayed in - certainly value for money. An abundance of towels/bedding, crockery etc. We did encounter a dishwasher problem - no ones fault and this was resolved within two days with a new dishwasher - note one of those days was a public holiday - first class service from our hosts.A very tranquil location but within just a few miles of Porge Plague - the most amazing beach we have ever visited. Supermarkets within a short distance of the property. Many thanks to you both - we had the most wonderful relaxing holiday

Great holiday at the big house.

The property exceeded expectations. The owners were very welcoming and organised an interpreter to ensure any questions we may have had were answered. Although they live onsite they are extremely discrete and you'd barely know anyone else lived on the property. The pool was fabulous, warm and a big hit with all. The house is well located with lots of activities within easy reach.

Lovely house with pool

Great property, secure, clean, spacious, and well equipped. Beaches. Le Porge, and Lacanau, a short drive. The roads out of Le Temple were all too fast for family cycling, no fault of the property, so we ended up putting bikes on the car for short trip to get on the safe cycle network around Le Porge and Atlantic coast.

Exceptionnel

La maison est de haut standing, propre, grande, lumineuse, très fonctionnelle. Tout est mis à disposition pour ne manquer de rien pendant le séjour (lave-vaisselle, grand congelateur, lave-linge, sèche linge, super plancha etc). La maison est très bien agencée, les chambres spacieuses. Le jardin est (comme la maison) extrêmement bien entretenu et grand, permettant de chouettes après-midi. La piscine est grande, super agréable… et sécurisée. Les petits et les grands en ont bien profité. Les propriétaires sont d’une extreme gentillesse et très arrangeants: ils nous ont mis à disposition 2 lits bebe et 2 chaises hautes pour nos jumeaux d’un an, c’était précieux! Le coin est au calme (ce qui permet de profiter de vacances reposantes) mais proche de tous les lieux à visiter (Arcachon, Cap-Ferret, Bordeaux etc). Nous étions 2 adultes et 4 enfants (entre 10 et 1 an) et nous avons tous passé de supers vacances! Si nous devons revenir dans le coin, nous n’hésiterons pas à y retourner.

Un super séjour !

Nous avons tout aimé dans cette maison: la propreté extrême, les draps qui sentent bon, la literie hyper confortable, les équipements de la maison, la piscine, le jardin... Un super séjour en famille, dans un espace sécurisé pour les enfants. On s'est tous éclatés dans la piscine. Nous avons pu découvrir la région car tout était à proximité : la plage, les commerces, les marchés. Nos hôtes étaient charmants, très avenants et discrets. Nous reviendrons avec certitude! Que du bonheur !

Excellent !

15 jours dans une maison et extérieur d’une propreté irréprochable (et c’est peu dire), bien agencé, literie de qualité…un extérieur avec un jardin très bien entretenu, piscine au top, plancha neuve et des hôtes très attentionnés. Une adresse que nous garderons, ravie d’avoir fait votre connaissance Monique et Patrick !

Super semaine au temple

Nous sommes partis en famille une semaine dans cette location. Tout s'est très bien passé pour nous. La maison était conforme à l'annonce, très propre, assez grande. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine. Les propriétaires se sont montrés discret et très disponibles dès qu'on leur posait une question. Merci beaucoup pour ce bon séjour.

Séjour vraiment très agréable !

La maison est spacieuse, bien agencée et très propre. La partie extérieure, avec la terrasse couverte, la plancha, la piscine chauffée et le grand jardin étaient idéals pour notre séjour entre amis et avec de jeunes enfants. Les propriétaires sont charmants, discrets et disponibles au cas où. En bref, un séjour royal !

la cohabitation avec les propriétaires à proximité...trop décevant !!!!

Quelle surprise d'apprendre que les propriétaires louent leur maison mais habitent dans le garage adjacent pendant les 2 mois de location...cela m'a fortement interpellé pour le déroulement.. pas manqué , au bout du 2 ème jour de location, alors que nous recevions un couple d'amis d'un certain âge avec un ado, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise d'être interpellé par la propriétaire à 16H30, nous signifiant que nous étions 8 personnes ....et que nous avions fait du bruit pour le déjeuner... Tout d'abord comment savait elle que nous étions 8 ? Et en plus 16h30 ? Heureusement que nous amis venaient de partir...Quelle honte ! Comment devions nous le prendre ? Nous louons une maison pour une certaine somme, avec piscine, d'une surface de 200 m²...et nous devons vivre comme des moines ? Nous avons été choqué par cette attitude qui ne serait jamais arrivé si les propriétaires ne vivaient pas dans leur garage... Où est notre intimité là dedans ? Je précise qu'une simple porte sépare leur garage de la buanderie de la maison où se trouve le frigidaire unique de la maison... Je pense que ce genre de location ne devrait pas exister car il est pas vraiment possible de bien supporter de vivre pendant deux mois dans un garage pendant la location de sa maison...c'est un confinement forcé...rendant ainsi les propriétaires à l'affût des moindres faits et gestes de leurs locataires...je vous passe également les réflexions de fermer les parasols tous les soirs au moindre souffle du vent, et de nous dire de ne pas fumer dans la maison...alors que de nombreux cendriers sont à disposition dehors...à 50 ans je pense que nous avons un minimum de savoir vivre, et en parfaite connaissance du respect des autres non fumeurs.. Nous pensions découvrir un endroit agréable pour envisager de passer de futures vacances avec des amis (8 couchages possibles), et bien nous allons plutôt oublier cette adresse... Quel dommage ! Si les propriétaires louent depuis de nombreuses années leur maison en période estivale, je pense qu'il est devenu temps qu'ils en profitent pleinement, et ne plus se soucier de ce que font les "clients" au sein de leur habitation. Il y a hélas un temps pour tout...et merci de ne pas traiter les clients comme des "enfants" Chers futurs clients Abritel, passez hélas votre chemin si vous souhaitez être tranquilles dans votre location. Nous avons bien entendu un dossier litige à ce sujet au cas où nous aurions eu a subir d'autres remarques désobligeantes.

Séjour parfait

Villa sensationnelle au calme, loin des bains de foules. La villa est très moderne, et tout confort. La piscine chauffée est parfaite, tout comme la plancha au gaz qui nous a bien servi. Le petit restaurant 'La dune', à 500m vaut la découverte; l'endroit est sympathique et on y sert de bon mojitos accompagnés de quelques tapas.

Great Place with centre location

In driving distance of all main attractions in the nouvelle acquitaine area, Medoc, Arcachon, Bordeaux and close to the Atlantic coast line as well as lakes. Great house with comfortable beds, clean and modern bathrooms, kitchen with all appliances, grill and stable Wifi. Fantastic garden and pool. Very friendly and helpful hoasts.

Très bon sejour!

La maison est IMPECCABLE! Très bien entretenue, elle est aussi très bien organisée et très bien équipée. Les chambres sont agréables (avec de bons lits et de jolis draps) et les salles de bain sont en parfait état de fonctionnement. La piscine est magnifique, il est très facile de la fermer le soir grâce au volet automatique. Il y a beaucoup de transats et 3 grands parasols qui protègent bien du soleil. Le jardin est grand, avec une balançoire que notre fille a beaucoup aimé aussi! Les propriétaires sont accueillants et attentifs. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de repos et de visite de la région (Lacanau, Cap Ferret, Arcachon ne sont pas loins!). Nous recommandons chaudement cette location.

Exceeded all Expectations!!

The property far exceeded our expectations. The property is far bigger than the pictures show and could easily have accommodated our family of four twice! The pool and gardens are stunning and large and so well kept! The owners met us on arrival and departure with a translator so we had no issues with communication. A truly fantastic property where we hope to return to soon!

Great holiday!

We chose this property as it's a short drive from both Bordeaux airport and the Atlantic coast. The house is situated on a quiet lane in a very small village which nevertheless boasts a stylish restaurant. A supermarket is just a few minutes' drive away. The house is built around a fabulous pool, with ample space for lounging in the sun and a large, secluded garden. Just a few miles away is the huge, sandy beach at Le Porge Océan, where there's lifeguarded bathing, a surf school and bodyboard hire as well as a two or three low-key cafés and plenty of free parking. The campsite offers bike hire and we took advantage of this to pedal up the coast to Lacanau Océan and back - the gentle cycle path takes you through the pine woods behind the beach. We also had a go at stand-up paddleboarding on the Lac de Lacanau and visited the lighthouse at Cap Ferret (great views). The house itself is comfortable and well-equipped, with good wi-fi. Monique and Patrick are on hand to answer any questions if necessary, but never intrude. We had a lovely time here!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette spacieuse et belle maison située sur un terrain joliment arboré et avons pleinement profité de la grande piscine. Intérieur et extérieur impeccable!! les sympathiques propriétaires habitant à coté sont très discrets et restent à disposition des locataires. séjour très agréable et reposant.

Amazing Property, photo's don't do it justice!

I stayed here with my family and my sister's (8 people) for first 2 weeks of August. The property is fantastic with all the amenities you require for a Holiday Villa. Met by the hosts who despite speaking very little English, had an interpreter present to guide us round with obvious and justified pride of their home. 4 excellent sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and a large open plan sitting area, not required due to the weather and the main selling point of the Villa, the gigantic outdoor area!!! The outdoor seating and BBQ area was used and is a great area to relax, along with a large pool and even larger garden area where our sons were able to indulge in games of football well away from the numerous sun beds that were available! The owners live in an attached property, but other than them having the onourous task of emptying the bins and disposing of the wine/beer bottles, we didn't see or hear from them. The Villa is in a very quiet village which unfortunately has no amenities and would benefit massively from a bar/boulangerie meaning a 5 minute drive to the local Supermarket, but being less than 15 mins from an amazing beach with excellent surfing and parking, this was the only negative. I would thoroughly recommend this property to any large group or family, the house is secure, clean, modern and as described the outside facilities will take some beating for any rental property. I will definitely look at returning to the Villa, and knowing the area well, there is plenty to see and do besides the obligatory beach visits.
