âWe were surprised to see that facility was an old motel. That was not indicated in the photos. The facility, location and staff were both excellent and we would definitely stay there again. The room was terrific. â
âChatham Travel lodge was well situated for our trip further north. The area is beautiful. The town of Chatham is close by with restaurants and shopping. The guests in the room above us were noisy for a while, but not after 10 pm. The lodge is old, but the room was clean and perfect for a one night stopover.â
âFor the kind of property this is (old motor inn), it was excellent. The rooms were clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the pool was clean and inviting. Host provided coffee in the mornings. Rooms have hair dryers, refrigerators, good lighting, enough outlets for cell phones and cpap machines, and great showers (really good water pressure). Only recommendation for the owner is to add grab bars in,the tub area. Older people and disabled people need this to feel safe...
âWhen first approaching the property my initial thought was â oh boy, I paid a lot for this!â The outside appeared small and old but everything else about it was great. Clean, very friendly front desk people, quiet, comfortable. The room was updated and had great water pressure in the shower, spacious room and very comfortable beds.

Did not like all the flights of steps to get to room and up more steep steps to bathroom and bed room from living area.
Did not like teeny tiny bathroom with mirror hung very low at chest height rather than head height. â
âIn catergory of a budget motel, this was a bargain. Great! Even the breakfast was better than expected. We checked another motel on the opposite side of the highway first. but happy that we took this one. And a very good wifi.â
