“Best spa we have ever stayed at. The service was absolutely excellent, Fromm all of the staff at the hotel reception, spa and restaurant. Our room was beautiful, very spacious. The only minor comments we have, there was no body wash in our room, and no tap on the bath, had to fill bath with the shower head! Neither detracted from our stay, we can’t wait to visit again. ”

“From easy parking, ease of checkin, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Hot drink making facilities and a nice addition of water in the mini fridge, access to a dining area downstairs with microwave, hot drink facilities and a toaster was all you needed. The price reflects the absence of breakfast supplied and to be honest, we preferred this option. Great value for money. We will be back! ”

“This is the 5th time we’ve stayed here in a year. Excellent stay, we were a little early for check in, however we had been sent the check in details earlier, so we entered the building to see if the room was ready, I was greeted at our room by a staff member/owner, he was putting the heating on in all the rooms because it was so cold - very thoughtful touch. He even helped us upstairs with our bags. Couldn’t fault the service. We stayed for 3 nights - the only thing I would of loved was a few...

“We had a terrible experience at Samlesbury. The room had no noice cancellation, we could hear everything from outside in the corridor. Doors opening, people talking, it felt like they were standing in the room. It was room 201, dont stay in that.When taking a shower, it was so damp that it was dripping from the cealing for an hour after. When we arrived they couldnt find our reservation for 10 minutes.
