âTrevligt hotel med pub och nĂ€rhet i lokala restauranter. Frukosten var bra, det Ă€r alltid förenat med bra tankesĂ€tt nĂ€r det finns gröt att bestĂ€lla. Att ta bort heltĂ€ckningsmatta i hotellrummet vore bra för helheten men framför allt hygien. Sedan förstĂ„r jag inte att man behöver decimetertjocka tĂ€cken nĂ€r det Ă€r vĂ„r-sommar-höst.â

âMy husband and I are Swedes in our mid twenties, and we went to Portsmouth for a weekend getaway. Next time we go to Portsmouth, we will definitely stay at The Clarence again. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was very nice, and being Swedes we really care about the breakfast quality. Try the salmon egg muffin, you won't be disappointed!â
âWe had a deluxe room which was clean and spacious. Facilities in the room were very good and included a good size wardrobe, full length mirror, toiletries and kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits. Quiet location. There is a bus stop right outside the premises and is within walking distance of a retail outlet. Helpful staff.â
âSteve was really friendly and helped us find a nice place for dinner and breakfast.
Kindly sorted a parking space on the property as I think it was a quiet night. But thereâs also a huge car park on the other side of the building.
More to do at the property than we realised. The communal area is brilliant. Donât waste your money in the arcades as thereâs loads to do at the hotel: pool, air hockey, table tennis, old school games table (pac man etc), sound system to choose your own music.
