“Happy with our 1st stay in the large family suite and the good breakfast ($7/person), we booked again on way back for the Champagne suite. The well kept big house can view the river from balconies of some rooms or the rooftop terrace (don't miss the sunrises). The hosts live on site and the lady was friendly and nice to talk to.”

“L’accueil par la dame Melissa a été très agréable elle est très gentille et puisque dans les chambres il y a seulement une chaise, on lui en a demandé une autre et elle est venue elle-même nous la porter à notre chambre. Très bon service. ”

“Quite old and worn room. Small beds, small bathroom, but all clean. Good price, and location for a stop when driving between Montreal and Toronto. Breakfast included. Nothing fancy, but still pretty good.”

“Professional and friendly reception staff. The place feels like it was built in the 1950's but it is roomy, with nice TV, very good WiFi, spacious room. Doors and locks from 1950's, but you get good value for money.”

“We have stayed here before and had very good experiences. Our room this time was a little disappointing as the water pressure was very poor making it difficult to have a shower. The bathroom door was very squeaky which was annoying when sleeping. Breakfast was better than most hotels offer and the staff was very pleasant. ”

“Good hotel for the price. The included breakfast had a limited selection. The hot tub in the pool area was more like a warm tub, the jets barely worked and the water was dirty, you could see hair of all varieties floating in it. The vending machines were not stocked, and there was only 1 ice machine in the entire hotel. When my room was serviced, the bathtub was not cleaned. The staff was wonderful though, polite, apologetic and attentive.”

“The room was clean, but the toilet leaked slightly. Flushing caused water to seep out around the toilet. Breakfast was simple, but included the basics. The staff were very friendly and provided helpful and thorough instructions. The parking lot was large enough for three cars parked near the room.”

“The whole experience was perfect. Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. ”

“Breakfast was delicious. They served a full breakfast food was delicious. Meal was served on warm plates. The owners are a lovely couple.”

“Excellent breakfast! Best coffee machine at a hotel! Mattress a bit firm as I prefer a softer mattress. Staff very attentive and friendly.”
