I would commend the staff at College Court. There was an issue with the booking, relating to type of room that was booked not being available, and the CC team just picked it up and managed it really well and seamlessly.

Breakfast was good the first day the second day the sausages and bacon were both pink and undercooked. Why are hotel showers early-morning intelligence scald-or-freeze tests? Why not have simple instructions? Likewise the coffee-machine, which can serve hot water for fresh tea but only if you ask a member of staff how, because you'll never discover otherwise, unless you're aged ten and know these things anyway. The lobby-reception area is like walking into a deserted office at midnight. Almost sinister. I wouldn't usually recommend muzak, but soft piano music might lighten the atmosphere. NOT endless Vivaldi, or your staff will go mad. I reported a faulty ceiling light, not expecting it to be repaired instantly. It was. Your staff are generally good-to-excellent, but there is no excuse for sausages that do not appear to have been cooked through. I would unhesitatingly recommend your hotel. However, I would agree a deal with The Craddock, whose business drops alarmingly in the evening. Give your guests discount-vouchers to eat late there, and both you and the Craddock would benefit. BTW, your shower is excellent, once one has worked out how to use it. km

The room was quite small but was clean, not too hot and was quiet. Great for a night or two but would need a bigger room for a longer stay. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Overall it was a reasonable price.

Nice location, shame there is no lift we were on the top floor and had to struggle with our suitcase up the stairs. The booking included full English breakfast, but only continental was available, it is only provided if they have 20 or more rooms booked

The place is fine to stay in although the brutal 60s architecture makes it feel like a tarted up prison. As it feels similar to a travel lodge or holiday inn, it is massively overpriced. I was astonished that for so much money there wasn't a cooked breakfast option.

Large facility that would be excellent for conferences. We were near the road where a manhole cover made some noise. Most rooms this would not be a problem.

Great stay
This was our fifth or sixth visit - we prefer to stay here when we attend a rugby game or visit friends. Comfortable room and great breakfast. The staff are unerringly friendly and helpful.

Fairly close to central Leicester but away from main roads. Easy check in and directions to room (there are several blocks on site). Compact room and bathroom housing as much as you need for an overnight stay. Bed was rather low but comfortable with very soft pillows. Room warm enough (minus 1 outside) with no evidence of heat coming from radiator. Breakfast served buffet style in adjacent building was excellent with a good choice for all tastes. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

If you are prepared to sleep in cold, this will be a nice place to stay. The Radiator did not work in my room. The staff present did not care a damn if you sleep or not. Next time, I will carry a portable heater with me!
