“A Husband and wife run the B+B. They were very welcoming to us. You could order breakfast the night before, for anytime between 7-9. It was made to order as well. The room had a super-king bed which was fantastic. The bathroom was very modern. The Lounge/dinning area is full of wonderful antiques. The house itself is over 400 years old. Overall, a great experience, happy to stay there again and have recommended it to other friends.”

“This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows.”

“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”

“Breakfast was very good, but parking was a nightmare. Information said the railway station was open until 19.30 .. we went to look ... 18.00! There is nowhere to drop off bags etc. abd my eife uses a mobility scooter, so, we would not be able to get anything to eat in the evening. I had to carry our case from the railway station and dusmantlr the scotter and made several trips up stairs to store it in the very small room, then, carry it downstairs again to go out. “These lodges are just beautiful! Perfect location for the party we had at Rise and Grind. Beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Spotlessly clean . Well equipped with kettle/ biscuits etc . Reception staff very welcoming. Honestly can’t fault it . Will visit again one day ”
