Lesgrabous

Welcome to Lesgrabous, an exclusive and tastefully decorated holiday home (+ studio) for up to 8 people (plus babies), located on a private 3-hectare estate in the heart of the Dordogne countryside. Here, you’ll enjoy the peace and charm of rural France, just 1.5 km from the lively village of Les Eyzies, famous for its weekly market, sunny terraces and excellent restaurants. Lesgrabous is owned by a Dutch couple, and the fenced private pool makes it safe for children. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and gaze at the starry sky from your own hot tub.

The newly built studio with its own kitchen and bathroom is located next to the pool and is brand new (2024) with aircon. It can accommodate two people and enjoy the beautiful sky full of stars from the in complete privacy. It can be rented for an additional €1000 in July and August, and for €750 outside of that time. Ideal for an extra couple or grandparents, for example!

Interior
The living room is warmly and stylishly furnished, complete with a large open fireplace for romantic evenings. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for home-cooked meals. Lesgrabous features three spacious bedrooms with high-quality box spring beds (90x200, can be combined into doubles), a baby cot and a highchair. Ventilators in each bedroom provide comfort during the summer. There are two modern bathrooms, one with double sink and walk-in shower, and two separate toilets, one on each floor.

Exterior
The heated private pool (5 x 10 m) invites you to relax and soak up the sun all day. Several terraces offer a mix of sun and shade, along with loungers and an outdoor fireplace for cozy evenings. Children can enjoy the large garden with table tennis, badminton, darts, and pétanque. The romantic hot tub in the garden is the perfect spot for a glass of wine as the sun sets.

Surroundings
Lesgrabous is just minutes from vibrant Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, the “Prehistoric Capital” of France, home to fascinating caves, museums and walking trails. Other must-see sights of the Dordogne, including Sarlat, the Vézère Valley and medieval castles, are a short drive away. Shops, markets and nature are close by, yet the moment you return to Lesgrabous, you’ll feel completely surrounded by calm, space and privacy.
