“The staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially the young man running the front desk (and operating everything at breakfast). He obviously takes great care in his job and wants to make sure customers are well taken care of, which is always good to see. The building is aged, but appropriate for the price, especially with the service provided.”

“Clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative thing is the carpet could replaced. But overall a nice place to stay.”

“The room was great for our party of 4. The pull out couch seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned so they must not pull it out at every clean but we had a set of sheets and pillow in the closet to use. The shower head was terrible, you had about 6 streams of low pressure water coming out. The pool was good for the kids. I really liked how close the stores and restaurants were.”

“The inn keepers were very welcoming. The inn itself was decorated with beautiful art. The breakfast was exceptional! The location of the inn allowed us to walk to campus and to walk around East Lansing. I would definitely recommend the Wild Goose Inn to any couple or group of people.”

“I had an issue with this hotel in the past where we asked for a late check-out to which we were granted, but the manager took it upon himself to then enter our room when I walked a load out... just as my wife was getting out of the shower. It was a whole big ordeal where I almost got the police involved and after this stay, I almost wish I had. It's been a few years since we've been to this location and it's under new management but I'll be damned if the same thing didn't happen this morning!...

“The continental breakfast is amazing! The staff are all very helpful and kind. We had a king suite and those rooms were pretty nice, not everything was wiped down from housekeeping, but nothing crazy. Very comfortable. The TV and remote are very outdated though it was hard to function. I would definitely stay here again”
