Historic Home Center of Town

Ett vackert historiskt hem med två sovrum, gångavstånd till allt, egen ingång. Bnb-enheten är en hel sida av en 1835 sida vid sida duplex. Tillgängligt för 1-4 personer i huvuduthyrningshemmet, 1 sovrum har en dubbelsäng, den andra har en fullstor säng. Däremot finns ett angränsande extra sovrum med en queen size-säng och eget badrum xtra $ 75 / natt för 6 gäster. Möblerad med bekväma soffor, bomullssängkläder och ett helt utrustat kök. Sovrummen är uppför trapporna.
Även om huset ligger ett kvarter från centrum, shopping, restauranger, teater, antikaffärer, gallerier etc. är det lugnt och har en privat miljö. En promenad ner en trädgårdsväg till din egen ingång tar dig in i ett lantligt kök / matrum och ett bekvämt vardagsrum med mantlar snidade av Conrad Burgess, högt i tak, massor av fönster och originella trägolv.
Detta är "Second North House"; detta är det hem som Charlotte och John North byggde när de lämnade First North House, som nu är The North House Museum. Sängarna är toppade med minneskum, lakan fin bomull, med täcken och fluffiga kuddar. Handdukarna är 100% bomull och schampon och handtvålar är naturliga och av hög kvalitet. Du har ditt eget fullt utrustade kök, privata uppdaterade bad och en utomhusgrill på en privat uteplats. Privat och lugnt, men ändå ett kort kvarter från det pittoreska historiska centrum.

Please leave rental tidy with all dishes clean and in the cupboards. Place all used sheets and towels in the laundry basket and leave duvets with covers on and blankets on chair or bed.
Please take all food items from fridge. Set thermostat so AC is at 75 in summer and heat is at 65 in winter. Leave kitchen door unlocked but closed.
If you had a dog with you, please place all doggie waste bags inside your kitchen trash bag and place in the outdoor trash bin. Send me a text when you leave at 304-667-4542. Thanks so much!

This is the perfect house, in the perfect spot, to have the perfect time exploring the very welcoming and lovely city of Lewisburg, WV! The host was the absolute best, making sure everything was smooth and accommodating. The house itself is historic, but has been kept up beautifully. It was cozy, clean, comfortable, and best of all pet friendly :) We went in March, and it was a little chilly at the time, so we were able to enjoy the fireplace as well. It was easy to use, just the push of a button! We will definitely be coming back to both Lewisburg and this house, and hope to make this an annual trip! 10/10 recommend!

Wow, what a beautiful, historic home. Very comfortable place within walking distance of cool local businesses, yet still quiet and relaxing. Our hostess was wonderful, and it was easy to get to the Greenbrier for activities. I hope to visit again!

Kelley the host was so helpful, and we could not have picked a better place to stay!It was so clean-spotless, cozy with the fireplace, wonderful beds and linens , and lots of nice extras like lotions and hair products.We loved having a nice kitchen to have breakfast.It is a great location to walk anywhere in town, good restaurants and fun shopping.The French Goat restaurant, right across the street was great, and the food at The Livery was upscale and delicious.Spent the day and had lunch at The Greenbrier, which is so close.A great spot for a sister’s vacation.We loved this VRBO!

Perfect sized house. Had everything we needed, even fuzzy throws in the living room for a chilly day. Sometimes the Wi-Fi went in and out. We appreciated the lotion and tissues in the bathroom. There were lots of booklets on things to see in the area. Although there were lamps on nightstands in the bedroom, they weren’t tall or bright enough for me to read in bed, but I made it work for me.

Kelley was a lovely host and everything about the accommodations was as described. We had the additional full bathroom and bedroom and I highly recommend doing so for 3 or more people. The air conditioning worked very well given the heat wave of sorts and being retrofitted for a historic home. The bedrooms also included ceiling fans. Great location.

Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit a few historic spots I’d forgotten about-there’s so much history and art within a few blocks walk!

Lovely getaway

This property is perfectly located in downtown Lewisburg. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the easy walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. The French Goat restaurant is right across the street (get reservations in advance). Lost World Caverns and The Greenbrier are also a short drive from this property. Kelley, the host, was wonderful with her communication before and during our stay. The property was super clean, well-stocked with essentials, and altogether lovely. *There are a lot of steps, steep and narrow, to get to the upstairs bedrooms. It wasn't an issue for us, but could be for some travelers. This property is the perfect getaway for exploring Lewisburg! Highly recommend. We hope to return in the spring!

Delightful Lewisburg

We had a short but wonderful stay at this lovely old but well kept home. Plenty of room, fenced yard, great private outdoor space, and we even were able to bring our dogs. One block off of great shops and restaurants but still quiet. Kelley was a perfect host and communication was great. Highly recommend, we will be booking again!

Historical Delight!

Location, Location!

Had a wonderful time! This was our second stay here. The location is perfect, as you can easily go everywhere in the downtown by walking. Tried the French Goat for the first time and it was unbelievable. Delicious. The home is also very close to the Briergarten, which we visited numerous times. I’d only suggest updating the linens, but other than that it’s perfect. The host is so easy to deal with and checkin and checkout was a breeze. Can’t wait to return!!

Always Lovely Lewisburg

We are repeat guests of this property because it is simply fabulous! Our stay this summer was for 2weeks. This house is great with the flexibility of renting an additional bed/bath. We entertained two groups of out of state visitors and everyone loved their accommodations and the fun things to do /see in the Lewisburg area. Our host was delightful and accommodating. We will be back!
