Historic Home Center of Town

Ett vackert historiskt hem med tvÄ sovrum, gÄngavstÄnd till allt, egen ingÄng. Bnb-enheten Àr en hel sida av en 1835 sida vid sida duplex. TillgÀngligt för 1-4 personer i huvuduthyrningshemmet, 1 sovrum har en dubbelsÀng, den andra har en fullstor sÀng. DÀremot finns ett angrÀnsande extra sovrum med en queen size-sÀng och eget badrum xtra $ 75 / natt för 6 gÀster. Möblerad med bekvÀma soffor, bomullssÀngklÀder och ett helt utrustat kök. Sovrummen Àr uppför trapporna.
Även om huset ligger ett kvarter frĂ„n centrum, shopping, restauranger, teater, antikaffĂ€rer, gallerier etc. Ă€r det lugnt och har en privat miljö. En promenad ner en trĂ€dgĂ„rdsvĂ€g till din egen ingĂ„ng tar dig in i ett lantligt kök / matrum och ett bekvĂ€mt vardagsrum med mantlar snidade av Conrad Burgess, högt i tak, massor av fönster och originella trĂ€golv.
Detta Àr "Second North House"; detta Àr det hem som Charlotte och John North byggde nÀr de lÀmnade First North House, som nu Àr The North House Museum. SÀngarna Àr toppade med minneskum, lakan fin bomull, med tÀcken och fluffiga kuddar. Handdukarna Àr 100% bomull och schampon och handtvÄlar Àr naturliga och av hög kvalitet. Du har ditt eget fullt utrustade kök, privata uppdaterade bad och en utomhusgrill pÄ en privat uteplats. Privat och lugnt, men ÀndÄ ett kort kvarter frÄn det pittoreska historiska centrum.

Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit a few historic spots I’d forgotten about-there’s so much history and art within a few blocks walk!

Lovely getaway

This property is perfectly located in downtown Lewisburg. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the easy walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. The French Goat restaurant is right across the street (get reservations in advance). Lost World Caverns and The Greenbrier are also a short drive from this property. Kelley, the host, was wonderful with her communication before and during our stay. The property was super clean, well-stocked with essentials, and altogether lovely. *There are a lot of steps, steep and narrow, to get to the upstairs bedrooms. It wasn't an issue for us, but could be for some travelers. This property is the perfect getaway for exploring Lewisburg! Highly recommend. We hope to return in the spring!

Delightful Lewisburg

We had a short but wonderful stay at this lovely old but well kept home. Plenty of room, fenced yard, great private outdoor space, and we even were able to bring our dogs. One block off of great shops and restaurants but still quiet. Kelley was a perfect host and communication was great. Highly recommend, we will be booking again!

State Fair Trip

Our stay at the North Garden House was wonderful! The historic house is very accommodating and cozy. We loved everything about our experience there and would most definitely stay here again in the future!

Historical Delight!

This was a lovely home and close to downtown - a perfect location for us! While the house had everything we needed, we especially enjoyed the patio in its serene garden setting. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, Location!

Had a wonderful time! This was our second stay here. The location is perfect, as you can easily go everywhere in the downtown by walking. Tried the French Goat for the first time and it was unbelievable. Delicious. The home is also very close to the Briergarten, which we visited numerous times. I’d only suggest updating the linens, but other than that it’s perfect. The host is so easy to deal with and checkin and checkout was a breeze. Can’t wait to return!!

Always Lovely Lewisburg

We are repeat guests of this property because it is simply fabulous! Our stay this summer was for 2weeks. This house is great with the flexibility of renting an additional bed/bath. We entertained two groups of out of state visitors and everyone loved their accommodations and the fun things to do /see in the Lewisburg area. Our host was delightful and accommodating. We will be back!

Historical Gem

A great location with character. Comfortable accommodations with plenty of bedrooms and baths, ample outdoor porch area to gather. Owner available next door and very welcoming. Outside planted area makes the environment relaxing. Parked the car and could walk everywhere in town the whole weekend.

Charming comfortable home!

What a beautiful old home! Very clean and a perfect location for a weekend getaway to Lewisburg. We enjoyed the private patio and the fireplace when it got cold out. Very comfortable bed-we slept great! Can’t say enough about this charming home!
