Ange som strängare lämna som vänner

Byggd 1893 som Lewisville School House, har nu reformerats till Newhouse Family Inn. Vi har 2 sovrum med gemensamt badrum och 1 sovrum med eget badrum. Du har full tillgång till vardagsrum, matsal och kök. Vi är mindre än 60 miles från Indianapolis och dess många platser som Lucas oljestadion, Indianapolis Motor Speedway och Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Mindre än en timmes bilresa till Indianapolis flygplats. Vi är på den historiska nationalvägen (40) och mitt i antikgatan.
Det blå rummet har en king size-säng med delat badrum, skolhuset rum har en queen size-säng med delat badrum. Båda på första våningen. Rose rummet ligger på andra våningen (ingen hiss) har en queen size-säng och eget badrum. Vi har bara lagt till ett extra rum som har en dubbelsäng, queen size bäddsoffa och en dag säng. Vi kan rymma upp till 11 gäster nu!

Stayed here to be close to New Castle Motorsports track. It was less than 10 minutes away. Which was perfect. The hosts were perfect, the communication was perfect. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We plan on staying again.

The house was wonderful. So many thoughtful touches, water in every bedroom, full coffee service, robes and slippers, more towels than we could have used. It was lovely with beautiful touches throughout the home. Lots of historical significance there and the story of the home was shared on a table by the front door. We will definitely stay there again if in the area to visit family!

Reunion

This is an ideal location for a family reunion held at the Lewisville community park. It was close enough that when the power went out throughout the town, we were able to take our food to the shelter house and cook it there since they had a generator!!! Everyone had a great time at the Newhouse Inn!

100th birthday

We came to the area from Washington State for our aunt's 100th birthday in nearby Knightstown. This home was perfect. My 85 year old mother found the bed very comfortable, and the house was stocked with everything you would need. John was so responsive and pleasant. We would recommend this home to any family, and feel grateful there was such a nice place so close to the birthday party!

Eliminate cross house access for security

Pretty good stay, would give higher rating if there where no locked doors in the bedrooms leading to other parts of the house. Who is gonna feel safe leaving children in bedrooms like that? These same rooms are great for adults though.

Precious attention to details

The hosts thought of everything to make this place special … bottled water, hand towels and slippers, tea and oatmeal, festive decorations everywhere, spices and kitchen extras, and sweet little homey touches throughout. Plenty of space

We were visiting my younger sister who just purchased a condo in New Castle so we wanted to stay nearby. My mom traveled with me and my two kids (5 and 13). The house was perfect as my mom had her own space and we could all spread out. Everything was well stocked and the kids loved the games. My mom enjoyed the bedroom with the attached bathroom. Definitely a perfect place for future visits and big enough to bring my husband and other sister along with too. Thank you!

Exceptionally charming home, so thoughtfully prepared!

My wife, teenage son, and I have visited many Vrbo properties, but this one stands out for its charm and the property manager's attention to detail. The photos of the interior don't do it justice; every room - including the kitchen - is filled with memorabilia that seems plucked from a movie set. (The difference is that these items are authentic rather than staged.) Additionally, the host's attention to detail is wonderful - there are instructions and courtesies everywhere, down to water bottles placed on both sides of every bed. We had a wonderful stay, and look forward to returning.

Quiet, comfortable, and spacious historic home

The Newhouse Family Inn was a perfect place for our family of 6 to gather. We especially enjoyed the well stocked kitchen - coffee and bottled water were appreciated! Enjoyed Our Stay

The history behind the house is very unique and interesting. Slippers, robes, and bottled water were a very nice touch. As well as the games and books. We were in town for the basketball tournaments going on at the New Castle high school. The house is just a short drive and fit our needs perfectly.

Loved this beautiful place , plenty of room for a large family. Books to read games to play nice big beautiful yard quiet area kitchen well stocked coffee , bottled water. And the history of the schoolhouse just amazing I would recommend this place and will love to stay again in the future

Family Visit

The property was nice and spacious. Check in and check out were easy and the host was great. Answered all questions. Coffee supplies and bottled water along with breakfast treats if so desired. The reasons I did not give the property a 5 for cleanliness is there was some leftover items in the fridge from previous guests. It needed to be wiped out as there were some crumbs and stuff. I also wiped down one of the sinks the mirrors as they had some leftover residue on them. Over all not bad but just needed some fine details cleaned up.
