âI chose Afrilodge because it looked like it would be close to the sights I wanted to see on the map. It was perfect. I was able to walk literally everywhere. It is located on a main street and easy to reach Providence island, the museum, churches, and monuments in about 10 minutes walking in most cases. âThe hotel is ok. Nice furniture. Still finishing it. The pool was not running. Breakfast below average. Wi-fi worked well. ItÂŽs africa, and the standard of the hotel is way over average for africa in general. No smell of mold. Complaints - no soap or toiletpaper at the restrooms of the restuarant. I had some consular matters to take care of at the embassy so I stayed only one night but I have been in Monrovia before. Then I chosed a more expensive hotel. What can I say about the area... âBamboo Beach Resort is a wonderful gem for a relaxing getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning beach viewsâwaking up to the sound of waves and watching sunsets from my balcony was pure bliss. The atmosphere by the pool was equally inviting, with upbeat (but not overpowering) music that added a lively yet laid-back vibe to the afternoons.
