Our stay at Mélia Lima was very nice: the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very large and clean with a great bed and pillows and a nice shower/bath. The room, however, was next to an Incredibly busy and unbelievably loud intersection. We had to play white noise on our phones to drown out the constant honking and motorcycle revving. Also, a small remark: we had to buy water a couple of times because the tap water isn't drinkable. We got free water most days but it just seems silly to pay 4$ for a tiny bottle of water.

Expedia reservations do not include free water bottles every day in the room, however we wanted you to feel at home and for that reason we gave you and your wife free water bottles every day, more bottles if it has a cost, however, if you do not agree with the price, in front of the hotel , there is the largest mall in Lima where it sells all kind of things with the lowest prices. Its nice. More a business hotel than recreational which is fine. The hotel is older but well kept. There is a mall down the street and the area felt safe. Its a 5 to 10 dollar uber to most popular areas.

It’s important that the staff be better trained on customer service. If you have a service listed and are unable to provide it then it is an inconvenience to the customer. Simply saying sorry we don’t have that option is not very reassuring to the customer. Try “ Sorry, we don’t have that option at the moment. But let me see if we can do something else for you” I m sorry I just really felt disappointed with the response and lack of effort give to me. I do believe it was just the check-in process but outside that it’s a very nice hotel.

Walked in without reserve at about 3 am, they not only accommodated me, but allowed me for a late check-out. Wonderful staff, breakfast is amazing, and it's located on a very quiet spot (something very rare in Lima). Overall, wonderful accommodation.

The staff that work at the hotel are wonderful. But a special acknowment goes to Grover. From the time we checked in to the time we left he was always there with a wonderful smile and always most helpful. Also I want to mention Kelly our lovely waitress at the breakfast Buffet. Couldn't have had a better stay in any hotel in Lima.Our suite was terrific, so spacious. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Good hotel in Lima
A very comfortable hotel in a decent district in Lima. The Level class concept was much appreciated and allowed for a relaxed "all inclusive" environment. Very helpful and friendly personnel at all levels. Big shopping center one block away. Only negative point was noisy traffic from the streets below, quite disturbing even up to the 9th floor, also late into the night. Fortunately rooms available facing other directions.

The hotel is a well appointed properties in the business distrct. The room is spacious, clean and well maintained. However, the few negatives for vacationers are: it is a business conference center and in the area where the traffic is very congested from moning to the evening. There is no way to adjust heating in our room, only for air-conditioning. The hotel provided a portable heater to our room during our stay.
